* u% @. A3 d0 j: t" y O1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies. + g- R6 B7 ?1 Y3 X0 G% K5 x
2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.
$ i, n. i3 q! B3 q: h: C# F3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:) k+ }1 X2 X5 d' H Q+ e8 H3 H
9 {# f' M- N/ B1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable. % K% [' y) e P+ }9 u' i6 ~) O' S
2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.. v$ Y7 C# o$ ^
3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous. , E2 U3 m8 I! }$ r0 v1 p# V
4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
: N$ W: H8 A9 |1 C7 K& F, I5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.
2 V( F4 A D- w6. Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
