KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1.        Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.  
7 i8 I1 ~8 |5 c9 U* I& ~2.        Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.  
* n8 ~) Z0 ~2 i1 H( q2 \3.        Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

: V, D0 S0 z7 g8 A) H0 {6 H/ {- BPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:
7 Z  l: [  x, m0 ]! j
1.        MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.  
$ I) N( o  u% r) E% ^5 s2.        Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
$ N" b( P& N) v6 I5 r: Y2 r! Y3.        Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.  
. D3 j% K; v$ s" `! F1 X1 N4.        Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
5.        Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.  
6.        Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
7.        Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills.
