ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action.

D l* \/ LThe CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.

2 K; ~+ a1 W% i& O' P9 a1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.6 o, P$ ^8 c, l& ?9 b- H1 x) ?1 o
2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.
& L( }! t4 H8 P$ i" u3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
