ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. Community Initiatives Documenter' d5 v7 Q0 L7 k! N" ]6 R
The CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.

Qualifications: % p' a% L- |$ V# v) x( U
1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.. V; f5 `1 I. v6 _4 H8 D* W R
2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.
: p: c b7 l2 Z3 l3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills./ N* t# K7 j p$ y g, r8 i3 o
4. Team player and also able to work independently. Able to deal proactively with change and achieve goals through coordination with other people.
