JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the
2 f2 N a" P/ T6 Y2 z7 aOperations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the 9 O2 T$ Q9 Q8 `- @4 z
procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service,

: \. f |" i- Z5 P' yDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
& w9 ?) j t5 l1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and
: x% E& C; |7 M' t! e& y& ybeverage items. f' v' ?: d/ |% ?
9 M* O# q. W0 m! w% P; y+ v1 L- Y2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
% P4 k4 `7 G* \; R. g9 _bar and debit floats.2 ~% B0 p' J* M
+ N7 O8 H3 k# K1 X2 s
3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of
3 A \! l2 `& b1 ] H! `7 t$ teach shift, and upon closing.

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular 5 x8 u* @8 q+ ~" B( D& T
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and
: n/ f- s& M$ K. H; ?3 Cseating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.

j. O0 \% G. d1 r5 T5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in ! k$ x5 `; @% p+ `
storage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol
3 O; c" c, W8 aproducts, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.

$ R& |0 b/ }3 i) B6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close 2 d7 l" w" \5 ^0 `5 T! b& l6 o
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a & }1 \6 d$ `0 ~' t& }% c6 V
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in
: D' M! T7 ` j, r0 waccordance with Students' Union policies.
