JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the
; b2 Z6 W0 F) l! s! R2 ?) w5 eOperations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the
+ }; _3 k# w& ]. V X8 z9 gprocedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service,
0 p9 `/ u& X7 }' V/ ]cleanliness and order in the bar.

* b% S! ?$ ~$ `+ A; I, T4 s$ V6 FDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Z, f4 a( J/ \; i
1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and
) N, P& W8 ~3 Bbeverage items., X! r9 J# O P( d
% t7 k$ ^0 V/ S1 Y6 B, V2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
% d4 |/ m2 f9 r+ a, Gbar and debit floats.

! l% H: }( w1 c, V: l3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of . u) B* i2 R. d
each shift, and upon closing.

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular * d2 i, I1 h: f! p& c% e& L7 ]
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and
% j5 R6 t3 h- ?' s1 oseating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.

storage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol - J* L6 e3 t- v" Z3 n! t
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.

6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close
4 J, Y9 x0 A9 Z9 c7 z' o" {monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a & k; B! n, h9 }* |" H- s: U
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in # e& ~4 H2 j1 ]# {2 a
accordance with Students' Union policies.

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a - M4 `* b: d3 a2 Y
high standard of customer service and effective operation of the room.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

) O: w1 L0 [7 g2 j; M; p: N. u2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs./ M2 r9 V" R) v9 |
