JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the

; d. _# U# T) g1) Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage ' \4 t6 l, U/ v- |( ]1 I) {* p

+ P; P" n7 d5 j& F, |1 y, f2) Responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive a
# |2 t- ]' n+ A, L/ Ohigh level of customer service offered with a positive attitude, in
8 u( v F: p A' _' baccordance with Students' Union policies.# P* Y1 z( r1 M2 y2 v7 u/ g! F! t& ]
6 y; a4 Z( e/ ?" t- t3) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the 5 |/ O& `# K; E$ J6 \- _
total cash-out value of items sold on each shift.

) J& C0 H$ n. d/ h6 w9 u+ j: a/ }& u4) Responsible for maintaining table, room and bar area cleanliness,

5) Monitoring patron levels of intoxication and taking appropriate : v0 X! s+ P6 N" ?' G* r. J8 d
action when necessary in accordance with established Server 8 t5 z {8 o% G2 [5 X: s9 x
intervention procedures and provincial liquor laws.- s- A9 [8 h6 o0 M: E+ {4 r
6) To enforce the AGLC Liquor Control Act, the Capital Health / B0 |+ c( f' X
Authority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS;+ o4 a* _3 S0 p* K$ p/ G% D$ ^
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

% r2 f! W. K" |: R2) Minimum one year serving experience in a high-volume, food-based
3 e" S: j* D9 Ooperation.
4 Y: n- J& `& L) l8 O5 z& P9 o2 {" M3 z `( j% o7 s# S
3) Personal cleanliness and dress in accordance with Students' Union % L. X; ^3 d/ S
policy.
