JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the
! H: m8 N2 R( A; y0 a: rBartender and Operations Manager, the Server is responsible for
: M5 G9 V1 H, k( [4 _' jcarrying out the procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of
0 M1 N/ U7 W5 n; c; E8 Ecustomer service and room cleanliness.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
8 e0 D4 \. V) ^1 B# w1) Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage & o4 t% A* Z& X' Q4 P; y3 n2 \/ y
orders.$ k! w& a9 I( v& w- T9 p

2) Responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive a
6 E+ W, Z d& \. P% Ahigh level of customer service offered with a positive attitude, in
" Q4 _" l4 ~" d4 D( Q" f* ]$ raccordance with Students' Union policies./ h% J% z2 {# G- i1 z
% Y: z& J6 H; a7 X4 v8 R7 F/ l
3) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the
2 R; e% j# l. K; a& G% Ptotal cash-out value of items sold on each shift.9 ]% v& d/ c, b4 ]0 h. B
* a1 Z5 B; ~: h" X4) Responsible for maintaining table, room and bar area cleanliness,
5 S! A0 ^/ [& ]# V! u8 Y0 _! zincluding regular bussing and wiping of tables, full ashtray removal " D1 _0 F6 |+ F: t& ]4 ]8 @( k3 v* I
and ensuring floor surface cleanliness.

5) Monitoring patron levels of intoxication and taking appropriate 3 _7 V6 ?4 X8 _0 S: a9 m1 a2 Y5 Q! R

intervention procedures and provincial liquor laws.

Authority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.: u8 J7 r; h; S$ u

QUALIFICATIONS;
/ E1 W% {1 R3 X1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

\0 B, P7 U/ M2 M- l2) Minimum one year serving experience in a high-volume, food-based 2 s+ `- T2 K3 Z/ v: n8 Q
operation.

" H6 |& K* U* N+ L% a3) Personal cleanliness and dress in accordance with Students' Union
0 A3 E5 t4 K2 V! apolicy.

4) Experience operating an Interac terminal and processing charge 0 Q6 A( r) U3 A' H$ l) s" r
