Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
! _8 U2 V( I: c8 E sCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
' n* u. a9 q1 J" Evenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
9 i$ t" N: S) ^/ vetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
5 v- a+ W0 y, Y& w5 M# Vparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
9 U' i* `/ k b+ a; `/ utheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during2 n7 L$ V$ `5 F: L' \( N) C8 ~
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,0 D6 H( T( T8 Y, |" R
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
- t7 r$ P* N) }- Lvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
) e/ y- p: Q: X0 Coutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
- r% \3 U4 m) @excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night$ W0 o! H& b4 A
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
% R, q. w% {" F5 F0 T/ Vfunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents" ~. m& G c( A* s
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
( `2 C3 j% d# `( vCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate" z! r* _9 E& Y& ~- Z5 K5 Q+ c3 G
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
# F) R+ m3 m" R) I- z0 d2 |demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake0 e* n3 A( H4 w- A+ H
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
9 Z! |9 V3 a- \- G& [, nof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management5 B4 x$ e, c; c0 R/ f9 t, R
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,6 a- p- j1 z+ G4 ?) ~% I. i
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
