pay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

- e9 _$ }  p0 p; SHours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
; @# {% l3 \7 h: G- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
5 S: {! Q7 o, m2 z# D" Kthe student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
school year starts.

  a. _" }% V  X- y* P( T! mDuties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
& N: x/ x% i; r/ H% B0 Z4 ?3 `% Vetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
/ L$ z+ t+ L8 ]. T* Fvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
* F, ^6 Q; q! y7 ^2 K6 aoutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
, _7 t  {, V5 S# Oexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
( b2 ~0 a' u$ S4 }" J1 dexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
7 u5 |( \* P6 G. g4 H7 O7 Q( Cfunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
( N8 _6 @% ]  a; Esuch as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

$ j9 P8 J& h; h- b3 @! \Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
$ k: T. i+ `/ ]* v  B' WCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
: W5 m' ]/ E0 Afluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
) w9 \' N' q. H4 I+ |a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
. [9 p7 }) x; j& o) F' jExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
