Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
7 K1 R! V. [$ H  Y& ?for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
9 K3 Z7 W7 S* e) ?3 X/ A. zcompounds by chromatography.
3 e+ g  I2 v! {" N# \/ i" b, `
% }% X8 `+ p% fQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
2 N- x5 }, ]0 g9 N# e- m- X  tChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
& \2 |7 `1 S% X0 U8 K4 c& Ranalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
* y: k2 M/ {# S$ V. iseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
$ X# d* {' O! ~5 V# y5 |of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
