Job Summary:
8 P8 G* G( \; ?# AThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
0 C+ c: X9 u1 k$ X+ T0 VInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials8 U* a3 f1 g9 `) p& q, d
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
! x. |& Z/ c4 Y* ~* nMust be able to work safely at all times
3 I" w `2 Y1 G; ^, Q+ E1 C$ RBe able to effectively perform tasks independently h/ `4 d) V5 }8 b* W+ m
Performs routine housekeeping.

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

! O }# v6 C+ C! X4 X Z$ f" C' NHigh school diploma (Or GED)6 x8 v4 k- p. c9 G
Well-articulated and assertive+ `9 x3 ^; g3 Y9 f* @% O
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
