The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials8 s {( }; G" Z5 I1 Q3 {5 a
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials% a4 K' M' S, a6 ~# C2 H
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material

Be able to effectively perform tasks independently+ ]& b4 H' Y. x* {, `8 A

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
