Job Summary:: G& G, R! Y6 G" I
The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials* m" G, x; T' v3 x8 A
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
2 k( Y( R7 D, J; w3 ~Loads and unloads non-ferrous material2 B( ]: u; U4 O2 l
Must be able to work safely at all times
9 V9 I$ f5 q7 b) lBe able to effectively perform tasks independently
) X* b! a; t0 P# u2 cPerforms routine housekeeping.

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting
0 v3 r' N h0 I E& O6 o, QKnowledge of non-ferrous processing
) E3 B, r, z# xHigh school diploma (Or GED)
# ?" w4 c7 ]+ O: S. a1 FWell-articulated and assertive
. N9 f4 K- V4 @( h" y) F9 x6 }Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
