The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
. s& ]" q* d* I( |Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials/ K3 B9 b a2 e- W& D. i
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
* O% A1 z+ D+ Z. e2 iMust be able to work safely at all times8 N3 X( c+ }& \( u! \3 P2 P
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
! G- O' A6 h ?/ wPerforms routine housekeeping.! S# h- V# J8 H1 W3 V: R; L1 O( h
Observes and reports any safety issues. ~7 a0 x' h" T7 J

Job Qualifications:

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

% j) m; e' l; E3 H8 F8 FKnowledge of non-ferrous processing
; l6 C% E) R: y# e( A! G, S: eHigh school diploma (Or GED)+ A/ U' g7 X8 \4 I! B6 ]7 f# o
Well-articulated and assertive* W5 c; Q3 w4 z
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
