Job Summary:
- \, Y' p- L; ^6 i8 `' j$ |The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.$ P! z1 G% K8 b; i' U; y7 V

Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials1 s( m% m* ?" N: G
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material1 U1 S- s h7 T- y' z" ~$ R! H+ p
Must be able to work safely at all times0 O( \* _# }( C) K& N; P4 h S9 R
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

High school diploma (Or GED)
( _. U d3 o7 T0 AWell-articulated and assertive3 W( |8 ^4 y5 D! _+ d
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
