The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.( i0 P2 k- {3 W* G8 n* I) Y

O! _) }4 @# y5 _Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
7 k0 T- t# a2 L: I+ U; e! t) S; eInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials( ?. D! s- t9 e8 ~
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material0 P6 z% @) v4 f$ i, K% m
Must be able to work safely at all times+ A" e! W3 M- H0 ]7 ]' n
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
! [: w i: m v/ l. g. ~Performs routine housekeeping.
" I R8 I2 r; ~9 L9 ~# R7 @2 aObserves and reports any safety issues2 G. ~8 { X5 c7 J

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
5 S8 c8 S7 r& `& b& WHigh school diploma (Or GED)
' g) T' ?& W6 {( Q' [% ?Well-articulated and assertive) W; s* l9 V7 y& ?1 E
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
