Job Summary:
' G0 ^* H$ x/ O7 Z5 G2 w: w- `/ dThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting./ t {4 h# E$ V" A" v. @7 `

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

7 [2 f$ ~5 x" u LMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials* U$ M6 O: `" K! K, K
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials9 U" P/ f( M1 m! q
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
$ r! d2 h: o; g! ` L {# WMust be able to work safely at all times3 @/ Z r# I' E) h9 E6 R% R
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently/ s+ P- @' I6 c
Performs routine housekeeping.! g& @$ F# U5 f P; K( n
Observes and reports any safety issues' {1 t# G: n9 [# q

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing

Well-articulated and assertive% y" N }/ s2 h1 l" u! `
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization, }: N6 w _) Z( Q# `( ?4 P
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
