Job Summary:( K9 g* j' |8 y
The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities:- q9 |- J' ~# S8 A# w' g

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
8 K0 C+ @: v/ n0 Q$ N. r' [- b( dInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
, G6 x$ _8 }7 W8 V% p0 L% Y, aLoads and unloads non-ferrous material9 @& i' s1 @, c3 i# w
Must be able to work safely at all times( x2 l: @7 v0 ]4 e1 D/ v( V
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently6 ]- W2 [9 v0 [6 l" F: q' V+ R
Performs routine housekeeping.8 _- O2 ^! q2 ]& [" `1 M/ L
Observes and reports any safety issues

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
# J+ d( z6 O& P* g6 k0 }: Q. GHigh school diploma (Or GED)9 c; \" L3 g8 h) S" G
Well-articulated and assertive
6 g6 }$ F' A k5 ]5 CAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization* r) [* e+ u, @# M# ?
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos( ?' W9 Y2 Q) Q0 _
Ability to write simple correspondence
