Job Summary:
$ i+ d) _4 v: R8 a; V! y/ _The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. - |! G' s0 Q1 T% LMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
: N/ r! h+ ?) p2 O5 }Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting% @0 s2 _& H C- b$ s v
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing a* C# H( Q: Q0 u# z- q: I
High school diploma (Or GED)

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization7 e! i( y3 J$ `5 ?! k/ S
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos* ]4 z. }% ~' o. v2 O, e
Ability to write simple correspondence
