The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.% q" S) W9 V2 ?- ~

Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
- k" m5 ?4 j, p1 b$ C' M) }; sInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
$ W- r* \ K* M- R) DLoads and unloads non-ferrous material$ m- w$ \% F! L4 k6 W" ^1 |
Must be able to work safely at all times3 ^: b7 c1 ~, Y: U" K3 k
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently) S$ Y$ m3 Q6 _4 S
Performs routine housekeeping.

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting
/ d0 M2 K o2 _5 Y4 w+ {% iKnowledge of non-ferrous processing
" E. x# F# e. ]3 d$ ^. BHigh school diploma (Or GED); h* _9 c! K2 l# ^6 y2 U
Well-articulated and assertive @! @) @1 `/ m0 B9 i3 f# A9 k+ n
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization. g6 K1 F/ V, N7 _
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
