Job Summary:
1 D0 j5 ^9 K4 a: uThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials1 F7 z+ |8 \1 L
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials

- ]6 e0 m3 ]+ m1 K# l! uMust be able to work safely at all times
" E' \3 y' h/ D& N8 @Be able to effectively perform tasks independently

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Well-articulated and assertive& W& d' H6 }9 O2 B9 }8 [! G
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization8 u G |( Z9 S- y5 S6 e# ^- }
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
