Job Summary:
8 G, q. e7 G. X+ N" DThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
; `: I/ M6 j1 \' BLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
3 ^ R) J, g( I( P1 UMust be able to work safely at all times1 G0 j' c: ]7 B' ^7 S% Y2 T
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
* p- q& m* n$ Y. J: |+ _Performs routine housekeeping.
) ] }2 I$ P8 S9 \$ W' u! C' VObserves and reports any safety issues

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting

High school diploma (Or GED)
0 B J- ?4 {% h! j4 {0 FWell-articulated and assertive
- W/ j+ W/ R( e$ A% nAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
