Job Summary:
2 F! {5 q) ^9 a P$ }2 e. VThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials8 E) S5 n, N5 I3 g1 i* T
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
2 X" G, V% C# M0 g% h( aLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
9 K$ p8 N0 O, a/ b0 ~Must be able to work safely at all times! D) B0 I) W7 d r% {8 X
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
' x5 n9 a3 }: u/ f3 WPerforms routine housekeeping.1 Z' ~: d7 a1 B2 t7 ?- [
Observes and reports any safety issues( Z' g' F2 h7 k; N5 F
Other duties may be assigned

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing

! Y2 t& _; U8 X/ @Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
