Job Summary:
4 P$ t- e w/ q; z4 r# G0 f" fThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials! V3 l% U* Q4 h3 v* @; m5 |
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials6 t2 r+ ^, I3 F3 h% G/ P U
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material* M& T0 u8 {2 m) X# z( D! f
Must be able to work safely at all times3 o! C( ]" ^/ k( ~" n5 J
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
& V1 t0 o) ?6 w# E7 Y2 W3 \+ UPerforms routine housekeeping.

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
