The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
/ L( m& M6 w$ \Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
% J1 Z$ q6 n: r! L( fLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
- R1 Y- z$ d6 v3 MMust be able to work safely at all times' Z, K% l5 s0 V3 O, P
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently6 D# W0 O3 M- M' y, @+ c. W' j8 \; g
Performs routine housekeeping.

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting
! ]' g; E5 a' _9 W* g# F6 _' q/ QKnowledge of non-ferrous processing8 T7 l# b( s$ W, h
High school diploma (Or GED)

1 Q" I/ Y' u! k0 _5 s/ l8 VAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
