The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.# o1 H4 i4 a. Y o

Job Responsibilities:

* x' V& ?0 ^0 e1 _) x6 eMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials' K7 Q% {, W9 @- E& B k! K$ s7 j
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
9 t9 S. Q- p8 [ zLoads and unloads non-ferrous material' N3 j8 r$ p2 g
Must be able to work safely at all times
- x7 |4 b4 K |+ Q! G xBe able to effectively perform tasks independently
$ {) Z5 n0 p0 m4 ?, _; bPerforms routine housekeeping.

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting8 b5 S0 w) F0 g1 o
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing5 m+ m' H& f( M5 U
High school diploma (Or GED)& v: t+ | x& [ j8 N5 C
Well-articulated and assertive1 M9 b* M* s* t' s" K- k$ ]4 k
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
