Job Summary:; e+ M$ m0 [" P& K( x4 a
The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:! {0 L8 s' {9 }, f" `5 Y

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials4 \3 ~& a6 ~4 p* `+ W
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
6 ^* @; E2 J8 [0 T: w6 [' gLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
) k, B* f$ D& ^0 i. n5 HMust be able to work safely at all times
- J# m& x( q/ `0 YBe able to effectively perform tasks independently2 Z& V, n1 K6 _7 H% B u
Performs routine housekeeping.
( p% n: w% j- Q4 o- QObserves and reports any safety issues

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting: r4 ?: B3 M* j8 }& e- L
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
' ^2 J# g; \$ i& {High school diploma (Or GED)
/ t4 x8 ?. P8 K M( k I! h. HWell-articulated and assertive
- g* ^& J% {8 q$ F- T3 WAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization" ]9 @7 c; ?9 g8 ^1 E( b
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
