The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.% [; ?4 c, q7 b9 O; O# {2 T

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:' f5 q: m" d) h
7 u3 E9 [# @1 i# r8 Q L7 FMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials( X; R/ |# H3 a7 j! x5 j
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
$ S- ~: c6 r1 o3 ~9 ?5 p' @Loads and unloads non-ferrous material% R5 Z0 ]4 j# u+ X! W r# `9 j
Must be able to work safely at all times8 c0 R( b/ i9 ~# H3 M) l# j. F
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
c5 m: t: Z$ A; OPerforms routine housekeeping.8 h5 F0 |+ m9 u+ u
Observes and reports any safety issues

High school diploma (Or GED)* y, b' `; J( }
Well-articulated and assertive
& ]& U( L" V$ X* D: d5 {9 P$ QAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization) {! w8 e( |6 C+ F& g1 s
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
