; a4 p8 q( N/ {2 ]6 ^The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.% h Y% P# m7 @$ B! Q

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
/ q2 x! o3 B6 y0 g YInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
' E: J; q- x2 A) w5 ]3 Y6 vLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
3 r1 x" Z& J- l7 cMust be able to work safely at all times! y/ [" X5 H& O
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
1 s9 E# O+ j: D$ T' F) xPerforms routine housekeeping.

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting! G$ [8 `5 P M$ r; e/ h3 }
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
% z" b% y# N& q6 P) aHigh school diploma (Or GED)/ ]" \9 f6 t4 C# K9 ~3 w' j$ f
Well-articulated and assertive/ T' T( y G! f6 a( E
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
