The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting." o& A+ Z3 k4 D/ ?

Job Responsibilities:4 j* ?; K9 U& U1 i' M3 v% n% c: P: g

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials" k6 @- B' d0 C
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
. ~- x7 `& m* u/ P2 oLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
& U+ G! S) @2 B( vMust be able to work safely at all times
/ e7 ~& `3 c2 aBe able to effectively perform tasks independently/ M" G. l) |" N+ w# u, L% \
Performs routine housekeeping.

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

5 }/ T* d' ]- Q: B* }$ l! }& IKnowledge of non-ferrous processing
# h) r1 t! P: l- X% \( v2 a8 pHigh school diploma (Or GED)
% Q' V+ O' v! U e. D; x' GWell-articulated and assertive
5 g3 N. c3 W8 |9 K0 ]7 vAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization1 k* @8 [& G2 v$ b' P7 F
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
