The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.2 O% U( N" k1 H1 P6 G+ d) n

) y o& E8 `: uMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials8 {* \! F: R1 f; W" u7 C
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials8 G" i# g3 [) R: B% O9 ~8 ~
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material

Be able to effectively perform tasks independently) X. Y" f! J" q" l7 s
Performs routine housekeeping.

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization8 l- J. g/ k1 Z$ e, ?
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
