The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.) B7 Z- D6 w X0 X3 ~

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials$ l( |9 w$ A' w( O
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
& T' [# `1 n: E) t( G, ^Loads and unloads non-ferrous material }! J0 ^. s% F! n: Q, v( k; J" q- A
Must be able to work safely at all times" \' K: m9 x+ e9 y+ @
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently, k7 t1 I G8 Y" S+ ]' p. q, `5 e3 w
Performs routine housekeeping.
& ]8 B3 R2 ? }1 a, c- LObserves and reports any safety issues% ]* H# I! I1 x! J" C/ c1 D, `

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

High school diploma (Or GED)6 E$ q) u! G' `
Well-articulated and assertive3 z2 y6 q! G: J
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
