The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

+ J) V c |1 t( b6 b% k7 E+ }Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
' ~) x. G3 y, o A& d$ eInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials

Must be able to work safely at all times
) [ j9 A* g$ {' G* K+ WBe able to effectively perform tasks independently- f$ ?" _+ p" s; W
Performs routine housekeeping.
$ g" Z* `5 p6 j/ a. k- k0 KObserves and reports any safety issues# j$ p. T& o3 o: ^( q

Job Qualifications:

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly! l% K0 w5 \+ F' m5 N
Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
( R- D) d) L, ZHigh school diploma (Or GED)

% v- v3 }! w4 ?/ Q2 SAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization- @9 G( f6 I7 ^' E! x U
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Mechanically inclined an asset
