1 Y2 o9 O# i/ U& oThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

& R# f: i# K% zJob Responsibilities:

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
. d' Y/ N8 Y0 ]Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials" ]0 U5 C) g r
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material- V! Q5 Y1 v0 ]( w5 c% U
Must be able to work safely at all times! N# }0 b7 W7 I7 ~
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently5 {( {2 \8 E; g8 `& a
Performs routine housekeeping.
; ^; e* r6 i) k) ~( h, TObserves and reports any safety issues- k! Z+ F4 P- ]5 ~

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset
9 v3 @* q! [+ ?4 A" h6 Z/ nExperience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting8 u% f- F2 T' o& M5 ?" p6 i
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
]0 A0 j& K4 j( E4 Q) a( F2 s; XHigh school diploma (Or GED)
. c. `& U5 q, I8 I vWell-articulated and assertive
" a8 y/ b/ n- eAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization5 }% b- l3 w+ w& }: R
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
