Job Summary:
; [" q/ q8 x$ s* A) N5 W$ D! MThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting. e* ~1 [( U' F! x' W+ j; b; r* W

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm( y2 O! x2 @" l& k5 U3 l

Job Responsibilities:

5 l2 j% c% P& k9 o* V( ~Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials" Y" s5 [( B4 J5 R$ D. q
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
; J) n. j0 d9 Q: R9 L/ u% S/ ULoads and unloads non-ferrous material& i6 D: n# p( N$ X$ ~
Must be able to work safely at all times- T v3 g0 u% ]" f1 J& D
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
' {4 i; Z3 Z- D3 [# l/ ]' I MPerforms routine housekeeping.$ k/ Y2 U$ D; P/ f1 N
Observes and reports any safety issues% Q0 _. b E. T% c2 N/ s

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting

High school diploma (Or GED)4 b- q9 d' F& x+ u
Well-articulated and assertive
$ _ |! f7 z4 t4 wAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
