Job Summary:
& z2 U) q; m- Z4 E5 q. e2 y, hThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities:

8 t* F" K: s8 P" I+ dMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials W# i4 S- h$ @: K! o7 w" b4 X
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
- k4 X2 N+ _6 Z" b$ t" qLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
S4 f* n/ P5 G/ j( y( ZMust be able to work safely at all times3 G8 ~0 |4 G8 A7 f
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
* W: d6 o* J- v; m" z; oPerforms routine housekeeping.& i& p Q+ ~2 h9 z) {
Observes and reports any safety issues

Well-articulated and assertive2 Z Z. i, a$ C( S+ L
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
