The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

5 S+ ^ r- n5 x& x! u0 q1 U1 zMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
: \, N/ N1 g& ?) |) B5 `Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials+ a! O# C% o! T$ n3 ^6 {
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material0 A: F' B* T+ M# F* f0 ~1 g
Must be able to work safely at all times
0 Y. v8 s# c0 MBe able to effectively perform tasks independently9 I! }+ O' p \) V3 X& P* l
Performs routine housekeeping.

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization) B3 t5 V/ E4 v
