The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
3 k- R. ]( I) {0 ^* C6 u @; V" B: [$ lInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
# s7 P1 I' V( H- JLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
. W; z) h- a# c0 g% x3 AMust be able to work safely at all times
) L; p2 ?3 r5 M: E% Z& fBe able to effectively perform tasks independently0 g+ _$ X- k, N8 s/ N

Observes and reports any safety issues

Job Qualifications:

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

0 ?% J# ~& r- ~& C, e+ w) \* YKnowledge of non-ferrous processing
) A& E8 g1 f6 E7 T' s- hHigh school diploma (Or GED)
, N" B/ ^. e; r* _$ VWell-articulated and assertive
- p+ }+ H' m3 J/ _Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
