The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Job Responsibilities:

; p+ l6 }/ e4 PMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials) t9 n5 i! ~ y
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
. J7 t9 G8 J6 A: N( A% DLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
* f: R- n. `2 l7 Z; [( O, @Must be able to work safely at all times
8 H# L/ O* M1 O5 bBe able to effectively perform tasks independently
3 |8 h3 }% `; l2 I% IPerforms routine housekeeping. B6 E M) b0 I+ T' s# q" k# ?
Observes and reports any safety issues

Job Qualifications:

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing& y3 x- Z! R$ m Q+ z
High school diploma (Or GED): U& N0 R4 D. D6 y
Well-articulated and assertive& e( c* [# }! I e# {2 e
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
