: E, \* Q3 P1 }% p P3 g* b6 {The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.3 h+ D! C) O0 Q! j4 `

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:$ y' C* I% r3 F D; s
' H4 k9 _3 U! S1 T s0 j6 _Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials2 |) f0 I+ b" t$ C; h
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
6 V$ J' z& u( V) G% fLoads and unloads non-ferrous material! z9 l3 b: r; y+ ~' j
Must be able to work safely at all times$ h Z/ a- w* z% D
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
; J2 t7 f+ x: r" W4 y" @# S8 ePerforms routine housekeeping.5 |$ o2 X! v }9 `1 {
Observes and reports any safety issues4 ?$ U" N- m% O. S; w y
Other duties may be assigned

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting$ Z# l1 Z9 N& N% x/ Z8 R. z$ b3 g# R
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
" p; Z7 l. {1 PHigh school diploma (Or GED)% W9 g8 X/ k# ?
Well-articulated and assertive
0 s( q9 n0 Z& u) q$ j/ P$ X+ EAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization7 e: u5 l7 P& q( t; P
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos3 ^) j$ V) D* ^5 R j
Ability to write simple correspondence
