The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.$ C0 J- `/ F1 a/ b; I

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials7 O( @* d( U$ U7 o& n) v
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials* \, `; N$ o' v$ s
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
; V2 E4 q1 j3 M% r1 p3 bMust be able to work safely at all times
- I3 b5 c: f/ g) {2 uBe able to effectively perform tasks independently
- ^+ n! O3 s4 i8 _. bPerforms routine housekeeping.
; S" k, L4 N$ g( OObserves and reports any safety issues. w4 m3 z' p7 s! u( z

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly, l- Q% s; \! V, T/ f5 X
Metal recycling industry experience is an asset
6 M3 @+ R U: ^: l8 LExperience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting: ^& ~6 y3 n, ?7 P
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing- Y$ ^& {: D: G2 [% i$ r
High school diploma (Or GED)
( B( q7 M! O7 i9 k# l# w+ tWell-articulated and assertive! d& \, X9 r/ {3 p, P8 V+ _
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
