Job Summary:5 ^+ ~8 p+ X6 T
The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities:, V% l& M' ~: r

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
$ E; ^$ Q3 I; `8 gInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
7 B$ v& t' m. D! l1 @Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
2 D1 l( Z9 x& q& z4 |2 ^; ^7 AMust be able to work safely at all times
8 I8 M7 c# S4 O" ?5 QBe able to effectively perform tasks independently
) f+ V" {- v0 x# N% t1 P8 X7 `Performs routine housekeeping.
4 i, Z5 l# B2 Z; P; |Observes and reports any safety issues1 T r8 O: r7 ?3 P G& J9 E

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly
c# a' s/ {! T; KMetal recycling industry experience is an asset

0 T8 h! d2 ^5 z2 c& ]Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
! M b8 Y" A/ A/ i' o: _" THigh school diploma (Or GED)% Y6 z% ^7 m% m, t
Well-articulated and assertive
/ s4 {0 {: n4 [# j3 bAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
