The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials! j( J' E8 o2 ]6 w* t' j U/ P
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material1 d0 `" t% F+ q' q6 Z* w
Must be able to work safely at all times
5 X i. @! z2 `8 Y! [$ VBe able to effectively perform tasks independently$ [1 j8 m+ a5 J+ Q& p7 e
Performs routine housekeeping.2 N; W& B5 [+ K+ N& q

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

High school diploma (Or GED), c3 t' `, A! _" Z

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
