The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
2 w4 D9 W3 P: ^) _0 _$ W2 kInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
3 q) f' k9 { J6 P; r$ LLoads and unloads non-ferrous material# t) Y0 K2 H* t. y+ v2 w& C! k- R# J5 x
Must be able to work safely at all times U# t0 \- K6 Q/ {6 k! m
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
5 C; _6 Z4 X; [5 U5 TPerforms routine housekeeping.
9 l: ]+ }; Q' H. f1 {2 IObserves and reports any safety issues

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing

Well-articulated and assertive

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Mechanically inclined an asset
