The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting. U( `* }; J2 h9 A7 t" p

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials0 G8 o# h8 @ R* |# m7 ]/ ^
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials7 j6 ^5 i8 {5 }' v- I. b
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material$ U, C9 c; I2 y& N/ Q: J8 @
Must be able to work safely at all times
9 ?1 d' t; C! LBe able to effectively perform tasks independently
! N* i2 n- K7 Y( _5 T( XPerforms routine housekeeping.
9 G4 ?, j4 E2 Y8 A* AObserves and reports any safety issues' j: v& j) ^; b) p

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting
. f6 g+ t4 W; k# } ?. _/ f- ~Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
4 F% x; H; O- S# U# jHigh school diploma (Or GED)3 D" ^/ w8 r9 M# j% j* ~0 _
Well-articulated and assertive
# O2 [" v& }* LAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization4 G9 y, i& s5 a3 x3 p
