The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities:' U" J% |- C$ b. T' M6 ^

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
( ]: Z4 L3 p/ k" AInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
* f9 v. `, V+ j4 S) ELoads and unloads non-ferrous material
/ T& b; W' c& U/ l s) AMust be able to work safely at all times/ U6 e7 Q7 y1 p! J
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
' j" w1 Q: ?" l) APerforms routine housekeeping.
% p: N G" _% {7 _3 o3 o1 OObserves and reports any safety issues) N) O5 |8 P# {, s

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting

High school diploma (Or GED)+ a- f4 v: U; d
Well-articulated and assertive; E' Y) H0 c6 \2 M
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
