Job Summary:
/ f: \0 ]% j" w! H B1 hThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.# W# V2 B1 m! h8 w& o' S8 ~! P3 |

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:

+ h, i) L% v+ m$ lMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
[& G8 P# ^, aInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
5 Y1 ^7 O* a' l) cLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
9 p$ o% t! M7 ^ m' g& k8 SMust be able to work safely at all times; F+ y2 v! U: E( O
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
9 [2 @# o. F- i$ {* D- ^5 kPerforms routine housekeeping.
' Z- I: b6 C- K+ lObserves and reports any safety issues: h* F! ]! q. k# `; a- y4 g, K
Other duties may be assigned

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting
+ Z6 N1 N/ c$ S. aKnowledge of non-ferrous processing
5 I; m. ~) c/ O2 P5 k) kHigh school diploma (Or GED)
3 p; J0 l! s! ~8 aWell-articulated and assertive
5 g3 c' r6 y- |. }+ R3 h. e$ uAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization& O `! O9 L8 K# A
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Mechanically inclined an asset
