/ V. M* E/ Z4 d* N1 `" O0 {7 ^- JThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials3 L+ ~7 @( B; v) b) l/ E4 q5 T
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
3 E! f* v ]; xLoads and unloads non-ferrous material9 U |7 Y c- J, X, r
Must be able to work safely at all times
. O% ^; l3 y3 a- V( xBe able to effectively perform tasks independently
* e+ l" m5 O; \* i, G2 DPerforms routine housekeeping.! s& Z% Z5 Q% g- {; } \4 T1 \. y1 H
Observes and reports any safety issues y3 n% a! g# Y

Well-articulated and assertive( d# d0 ~, q& Z
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization) e6 q2 M; G5 p+ B% ]6 c% W) A, T
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
