! p' \8 w& A. x7 Hweekend hours.
3 a' M3 Y$ ?5 n( g4 { h! `You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Research Data Centre (RDC) computer4 S8 P. u2 [$ d
lab located on the University of Alberta campus as well as providing administrative support for the* k5 O* _+ e0 l
centre.
9 n; T$ _4 M, g* j' m D& _These responsibilities include:" V" n5 h _/ S) J, \% W" Z; |, C
-Maintain the integrity of the security systems in the RDC.
, H* Z/ N6 f: \7 _: Q-Provide basic support to clients on operating Window XP.) F) G0 l5 a6 g7 i X3 `6 N
-Provide general office administration support, such as filing, upgrading software and% W, V$ u" N- ]# |! e; w0 o. V
renewing licenses, communicating with various university departments with respect to
|* B) I3 U$ @# S7 ~facilities’ maintenance, etc. 2 I9 I4 c9 l9 m
-Conduct other office related tasks, such as Internet documents search, backup of electronic

Education:
2 s7 r2 Z3 Z0 Q+ H-Successful completion of Bachelor degree in administration, business, computer sciences, 0 k( x5 D% e% _! D: D1 g9 H
education, economics, sociology, statistics or related discipline; or an acceptable combination
) t+ y- G8 k( sof education, training and /or experience. - D/ _4 I; H7 r8 o! h8 S ~
Knowledge/Technical competencies:
& h5 i2 Y/ k% H a-General knowledge of the Microsoft Window operating system.4 D7 W, ^, Q( V- j; ^0 v* X% A; ~. H
-Extensive experience in using Microsoft Window office application software including Word
2 v) l k1 o" q; Pand Excel.
# j$ ^0 Q" ^- Y' h( W% T-Experience using and updating an information database.

Assets:
