CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
* C8 Q" ^% v% l4 A- e2 G, ?
( J9 M2 H1 o, C; a+ s· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

; Q* o1 i) O& a4 [$ n: B7 ^· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
! p# B" h3 i" I4 x
· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
  ~6 r' K& R( h" Y/ x2 M0 ~
2 k# ?$ S3 `# u0 @0 H3 R· Operate manual and automatic shifts
  X3 T5 K, F+ C9 v. g& W
· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
( K( p- R& j9 y2 m2 ^: u# G6 H
· Valid Class 1 license
; \2 X6 _9 z! H6 o, Y5 |0 M& ~, [
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

: F: o7 ~  ?' s3 m' ~- B6 y; `· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

) }2 O% [) A/ V1 e5 h/ j· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
