CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
) ]0 s2 [: B. }  Q
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
2 ~0 ]! K6 {5 r: M7 e$ v
3 C+ W/ Q) p! M  y. `+ Q· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

2 q! o& p& w4 z' Z+ b# n# P· Operate manual and automatic shifts

# R5 J; m2 a! l+ a$ c8 V, F· Secure loads safely

" x* U/ d. G! Y# [Qualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
5 ~/ F6 l5 q  J
· Valid Class 1 license

8 ]0 W; u! a( |' W, a6 a1 f· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

$ d+ q# d" _8 ^- ]  k3 ?· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

- ^, b  ~% p( u# L( O4 p· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)
' \9 j3 S. y: p) L5 p+ ^! V
· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
