EDMONTON — Southgate Centre today began a $108 million expansion to accommodate more than 30 new retailers and restaurants.

The two-year project, facing 111th Street, will add 126,000 square feet of leasable space on the ground floor — and two levels of parking above., ?- Y4 d! u" M- v* F `7 ?- ]
- R) h' s- v% j. [: d/ v9 V: u$ K“Part of the redevelopment will include enhanced site lighting and closed-circuit TV security systems monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” said Southgate general manager Paul Fairbridge.# u5 {/ q! _1 t3 H5 l5 @
