CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

" _8 R7 m& q3 p. K•        Manage all accounting transactions
' q8 C$ C) R: O. y; X+ u, r2 E; k•        Publish financial statements in time
. T3 U, s6 f3 h•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- G& ~; F0 V5 p. L•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
; o8 m2 ^6 N# l, S) d1 R•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
7 G/ r; L1 g0 W) G6 |2 q•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
: y0 L5 d' B" |' a0 K' I& B6 ~•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
) h* v4 o) k  X0 ], R, p9 O•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.
