6 \4 U7 N. |  y/ ?5 i  NThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

8 S9 h3 G" L! e* L* P7 e: HThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
4 d9 [% d! i# L, b# K4 t0 F0 y-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
! ~# c% M1 [4 m4 ?4 b1 u9 U5 I-        Building and managing supplier relationships
0 }4 ^( I. P9 B-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
! T0 c3 n; M5 K
Requirements:
. ?3 q7 j0 v: r$ D) ?9 M- Sound research skills
, M2 \6 A5 m( P& m& E  D% N' l3 c# n- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
# s3 V9 ]8 k+ I1 u( M; R# U- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- ^4 e6 r) k1 _- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
9 t4 d9 o3 u0 j- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
