Essential Responsibilities:

PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.
1 `8 a( u# K: j9 Z% g; _. N6 cConfiguration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.
& ?7 N! q8 j# V/ Q" {Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.. g+ p; g7 ]1 l
Collaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.4 Z! x4 g2 c4 s5 x1 m- Y- z
Interpret and follow contract and customer specifications

) j+ j- L5 ~/ k& dLead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed

Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution
2 o0 }# w3 O+ B$ YWork with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed
! y) \' b$ M+ O) gEstablish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.) \5 T& u5 j( C" x2 y. ?' t
Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)
1 v/ f6 v" h x+ F1 g$ \Participate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed
* B: \' V) x+ W4 F& Q; R4 ]Work with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing
/ C7 G) l1 \, e( M7 z6 T" NLead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure
3 J0 G0 s5 a! J: v! YOccasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College9 {7 L! c; |0 u8 @9 N4 R% w$ x* H e
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.
+ l8 B) G0 K: `9 Z9 x; z0 I- J2 uAutomation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)
- q- u) ^, w7 wExperience interpreting process control documents.
! u# U1 }6 }; S" d' B$ q9 BExcellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities f0 }; o7 W! W/ q' o/ e
Proven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards

Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.
& d& v! M& W/ B# U* g$ uMechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)
