+ \: f, `3 X. G7 EAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
9 I% U/ H/ G; o- o+ r1 A* X. S0 m x$ X' ~
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
- X; y$ N; E# @- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
( j+ P7 I& L" D- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. + o" X. ~4 h1 i1 h. r2 f
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. # y6 k, r3 a8 ~) n/ K1 }
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
0 [4 n3 e* Z' w `, }& }7 T5 X& N7 X" e$ w- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

5 }9 Q' B+ I" v/ `4 J- Previous supervisory experience

* V! i5 G( V; t9 Q7 E& J7 P! S- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
; u4 ]# ?5 m' n! D/ [- B- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills ) Y0 I8 [8 h- Z$ L7 o$ q, \
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations ! ?0 }/ O) ^0 v. w& G
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
