* i: `7 q5 @# T1 OAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:# g( T9 E" s% n) r' S0 X
% c. F5 g/ H! L& ~; f) T3 c; @* t
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
4 G3 X/ _$ k) x- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
5 \6 y6 G7 C# I4 ^- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
! K5 }6 V. q/ B# u, \* Q5 u, @- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
. u- B6 j% b% e- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
: M' j" p; |7 P- V4 T4 b- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience
/ d8 i6 d K, E2 W3 v- Strong leadership skills 9 r1 X& G; x' j* A! Y3 k0 L' t2 G
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
# f. P/ ~; _% G. _8 t- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 8 q$ `( P$ t6 F" k6 O
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 1 b; u8 o# {, n
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
