As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

9 c$ A# S1 c, S0 |2 G/ N" ^# K- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 8 }# I4 l* q* A, ^
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. ( J0 ^, j; q1 }! B# d& C
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
! I/ e" ]" H* u6 F) u- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. - S- ~# n. g6 \: y) B2 C6 }
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 9 p" d7 I8 ? l1 M% H
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

Y3 H" P& ^! a5 @" G- Previous supervisory experience - `1 N r! q. F* q
- Strong leadership skills
" z: g- |* P, T/ F, X- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 9 m, ?, @; C/ _5 X1 m! i8 ]
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills % k. F1 `' I& {& ^0 @
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 5 q' W& Q, v! }# \) ^
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.# `4 q1 R8 Q% h( l
