5 h$ U% p8 x( O. T7 l6 A! L+ D3 cAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. ! d# w. O1 y7 U6 I; y' d
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. ! I0 d3 `$ o! F! |1 U3 _( p% {# o
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
9 N' V: |* c+ p( H0 @; R/ L- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
0 h$ g6 s7 B% U& i- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
4 d! A2 q5 H( k" o4 s+ B, d- C6 b- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). 8 b5 U+ T8 O+ l- M% N
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements# ]% ]7 A0 u3 ~1 M3 {+ T# P- c a
. m: q9 A N/ M- Previous supervisory experience
% d+ [9 A( a: e1 ~3 \% O# ?- Strong leadership skills 2 G' A& U2 m; q
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
/ M$ g: P0 D4 B; z& ? J" _' {- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
0 j q, ^, X6 C; V" d- l- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations m& }; f/ _4 ^. o y8 Q
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.$ Y/ B- j- h( c* y/ \0 O, w$ y
