As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
- ^! |5 `3 g- W5 J, d R+ M) H z
3 ~3 N- {/ a; d& d% w0 m. z; k- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 7 n" ^% u/ {/ b0 p. R, a
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
/ `+ O2 Z% m9 Y3 t) q- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
5 u. S7 j& ]- n3 l9 ]- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
8 J2 Q' x1 k, E0 P% W- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. w( `5 I$ D9 a0 D* R& C5 K5 s
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience
2 g) r' H- C4 e4 F& r. B7 }- Strong leadership skills 5 Y# d5 z/ x2 V% c
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma ' W2 g) L& ^) @+ T2 {
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills " n9 W J! G- c8 q
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 9 e- J5 ^! b+ D- m
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.+ j. [2 r3 ]4 H. K- w5 a
