As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
0 D7 V( R6 e/ w; f2 H, ?+ k6 `; G1 \+ g$ L" L, A8 s
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. ' q; z- o+ ?& F1 [% b( T
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
/ D6 T4 j4 i& `0 S- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
% Y Z* Q: ~& J! {+ j- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. E' I" P$ m" t2 q
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
, {( o; L2 G, m, X- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
; j" B9 C+ Z' `3 A$ R9 R4 @" ]- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements
8 x5 j9 @- F0 Y; E) K
# L1 v9 Z+ C0 Z- q, h- Previous supervisory experience
; p. S( j, J- J- Strong leadership skills
1 d2 U# u" e& S0 V; Q" u' p7 L- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
& x- x; ?3 L1 c7 [- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 6 V5 q9 G2 V P% W" h
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
$ @5 v! Y4 E3 p8 Y% a- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
