3 L( I2 K' s) G0 t! u亚省医疗协会主席称，该草案会使亚省医生在大概一年半后首次提高医疗费用，以此达到在经济繁荣的亚省留住医生的目的，但是这不一定代表对于病人的医疗水平会随之提高。

$ K& d: E3 u( v1 \ jEDMONTON (CP) - A tentative deal that would see Alberta doctors receive their first fee increase in almost a year-and-a-half should help retain physicians in the booming province, but it won't necessarily improve patient care, says the president of the Alberta Medical Association.

. M$ O, |. Q" l. k% H' H: M* }"It will keep physicians hopefully in this province. It will hopefully attract more physicians to this province and therefore has the potential to improve care," Dr. Gerry Kiefer said at a news conference Saturday. % V+ T% ]3 Z7 {, n8 `
