有年费的信用卡，别忘了它的保险功能！

大家一般都不喜欢有年费的信用卡，但是有年费的卡，除了返点更多，还有其他好处。我用的是RBC avion Visa，年费120.

首先，你如果对信用卡的某一笔交易有异议，dispute的话，信用卡公司直接把钱还给你，然后他们自己去找商家理论。第二，很多卡有旅游保险，从你出行第一天开始算，cover 15天到21天不等，不用额外买旅游保险。第三 它给trip delay, trip Interruption的保险，什么意思呢，举个例子，朋友的老早定了cruise，到了不能返钱的当口，老爸生病了需要手术，船票机票都损失了，别着急，找到信用卡合作的保险公司，把需要的信息提供上去，都会给报销所损失的费用的。我买过不能退的机票，刚买完就收到法庭来信，同样的日期要开会，不允许改期，把机票只好取消，保险公司也把机票费用给报销了，前提是你得用这张信用卡购买的机票。其他还有租车保险什么的好处不啰嗦了。

$ Y. W+ h8 F& r% `6 q) F建议经常旅行的同学考虑一张类似的信用卡，返点可用来买机票，定宾馆，有事的话还没有后顾之忧，蛮不错哦。对了，Rogers最近居然疯狂推出了一款无年费world elite的黑卡，也有这些trip的保险，但是返点只能用来抵扣Rogers有关的消费，比如你有它家或者Fido手机，那就很方便合算。这个卡家庭年收入要达到15万才可以申请。TD好像也有一个旅行信用卡比较受欢迎，没用过估计都差不多。

( A1 h2 J8 t7 wPoints can be redeemed as statement credit once a year by calling Rogers, or creating an online request (Has to be requested before Dec 1st of current year, receive statement credit in January of next year).

我一般只看travel accident insurance. 防止万一不小心上了马航或狮航。 这个Rogers 好像没看到travel accident insurance。 虽然有Out-of-province Emergency Medical ($1 million. 10 days for ppl < 65, 3 days for ppl >= 65)

记得当时把所租的汽车的变速箱给撞破了，信用卡公司给赔付的，好像是7000多。royal bank 的信用卡。

不喜欢Avion的点，Costco也不收，更喜欢直接一些的返现，比如TD Cashback VI，旅行的倾向于RBC WestJet WEMC，外加一张AMEX Marriott的信用卡，年费就被每年送一张的酒店房券抵消了

Also good credit card has extended warranty.  Used TD gold visa to cover the repairment of a laptop, which was bought just over one year from Bestbuy.
