在这里学会了做很多吃食, 现在向大家介绍一种面包, 很适合我们(至少我和家人)的口味, 也很容易做. 有时我会加一点全麦粉来替换白面, 再加一些燕麦, 更有营养. 可以手工做或用面包机. 如用面包机, 量一定要掌握好.也可以做成一个一个的小圆面包.

2 packages yeast

2 z6 ~$ Q8 f+ e1/2 cup pineapple juice0 S& ~& }7 b; s$ F6 G
1/2 cup water
6 z* L% s8 E2 |+ w, V/ W; h# H1/3 cup shortening1 S5 f. A$ A6 A
1/4 cup honey
9 j" S2 \* }7 A0 I% P, ~2 eggs
2 Z4 y& A, f4 Z5 s1 drop yellow food coloring, if desired

In a large mixer bowl, combine 2 + 1/4 cups flour, yeast, dry milk and
, Z" ^& r' ~; Ysalt; mix well. Heat pineapple juice
) g# N& j# L, e; [) A3 d4 Y, 1/2 cup water, shortening and honey until very warm (120 degree) ;
( _, a4 O$ R6 Q! r; f6 s$ Ashortening does not need to melt.)
* O9 l/ A) O/ B5 L3 hAdd to flour mixture, add 2 eggs and food coloring. Blend at low speed) r8 u# K. p3 n
until moistened, beat 3 minutes at medium speed. By hand, gradually

in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Knead on floured
/ V! C7 k) @. ~, C) `0 Bsurface
2 i: {& M+ i, o9 L* w8 m) Ountil smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes. Place in greased bowl,5 s$ b4 J: j, {4 ^
turning to grease top. Cover ; let rise in warm place 15 to 20 minutes" r6 \* p8 U4 L# p+ ^
(30 minutes for active Dry Yeast).

# z. Y" Z- a* G) H6 LPunch down dough. On lightly floured surface, shape into a round loaf. I4 [% r9 ?* m2 d \+ o
Place in greased 9 to 10-inch pie pan. Cover; let rise in warm place

to 20 minutes (30 minutes for active dry yeast). combine one slightly0 P5 H+ [& n9 M* m) Q8 `
beaten egg and 1 tablespoon water; brush loaf. Bake at 375 degree

35 to 40 minutes until golden brown. Remove from pan; cool. |
