The Alberta government has an online source of data known as the Alberta Land Titles Spatial Information System (also known as SPIN2), from which a limited amount of information is available for free.

1. Visit https://alta.registries.gov.ab.c ... temunavailable.aspx, click on the 'Guest Login' button, and agree to the terms of use:

2. Click on the 'Search' button at the top of the next page:

3. Click on 'Search by Street Address':

5. This will bring up the rough area on the map. From here you may have to navigate around using the north, east, south and west buttons. There is also a zoom button at the top left:- u1 a N3 j& ]0 M5 {' k% N. c

6. Once you've identified the property you want, click on this little icon in the bottom left of the screen, under the 'Tools' functions:4 k, E2 q. g+ [# ~' J d

, t$ z8 S9 t. i# X) X, v3 l4 {7. Then click on the property you want and it will open up a new window. In that window, click on the little binoculars icon under 'View':) A( X. V* M k+ z

8. That will bring up basic information about the property, which usually includes the 'value' and 'consideration' of the most recent transfer of ownership:
