RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
5 z7 F8 R9 w3 u9 i• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
7 p8 @& D2 u) u2 Q, z  J% A% E   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
; r4 r2 k' l( h& k0 T1 P   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
$ J8 x1 U, Q$ B8 V   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
# a* G5 S0 Y- S4 Q4 ^! f& _3 h• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
5 y2 G9 o; l: N1 J" A/ `• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
0 p! t: W* f* f. M1 e0 M( tplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.

+ E1 i5 }) V5 k. mSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
# a( d0 ^* V# a, m• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
; z2 S. \/ w/ ]/ c6 A$ N( S• Excellent written and verbal skills
3 ~. C9 ?$ R& f4 F* p% l• Ability to work in a team environment
2 r; p% M5 i, N4 `0 @• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
3 a2 a1 k9 y" d. }   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
6 B9 d" C- d: v7 M: [   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
7 P: M* S2 k. D) _. Z4 W• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
# w6 u( F; c* T• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
# j" |7 N0 g9 H• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
