RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
/ _8 G7 F) x+ W' d/ l2 K• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
2 U0 L9 T- t2 b! o- z2 m6 `. }   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
6 {, C) K/ {5 w& o. u% l   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
: d+ Q* z9 ^  ?' @/ A. M3 I& u   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
! m. [6 T4 s" W0 m+ k( I   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
/ A( E% P' m4 @6 R   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
8 V1 J9 C2 N6 W' {) E   o Sun Solaris operating systems
* X% O/ X7 P2 T: r$ |   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
6 R2 a1 U  F4 m• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
: K( g2 b6 l5 d' I" m• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
. d, P; s2 e4 PSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

" e( l; I$ }. Y7 b, hSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
& k$ \+ B* B: F% L- p  v• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
/ V. m; I- X* `   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
' N( T4 a  C- X  X7 K& u. w   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
1 }3 o: \! }" q# {; Z9 W" E   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
& G) i% y% b! O) e8 ~   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

& o1 S/ ?  `( y: i5 H) f7 E" P• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
/ t+ {% r- O$ p9 j0 ?• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
% F! ]4 M* Y: {. `# a  [• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
5 M' R$ e- w  c/ s. P1 `! J0 D9 Z+ K• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
