LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA

SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
  r& V0 d& G8 i   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
# B& W3 Q5 Y% E& R! C/ c   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
  h5 K' B: h* [/ Z* h6 y- I   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
$ s1 l- `+ X3 b5 b   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
6 C  j; h9 A6 b) X! o   o Linux based operating systems
8 q* E9 Z  {- A   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
- l4 ^& `+ ^4 @" V2 J: H• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
7 _6 A) d- e& J3 m• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
4 h3 F! x) m1 ]• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
% J; G4 Y# E" \  [$ q- [+ b1 jplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
5 s! x* V6 H( D+ P• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

( M" a" ?  z1 A' a; T' QSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
# w! v0 _& T" L% @) ^! n6 o• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
( k9 V) O" g% P1 S! }• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
/ A" W- \* F+ U  u5 a) P( r: l) z• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
! F  m4 ^1 q0 n- R# h' M• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)

   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
: p, o9 t4 J7 p• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
* t9 g( r9 o, ~0 I2 n' w* J1 u• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
$ s% i  L' ?9 C• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
