EDMONTON -- A 32-year-old Edmonton woman charged in the death of a foster boy has made a brief court appearance, but the case was put over to March 5.

The woman's new lawyer, Robbie Davidson, said he couldn't go ahead without receiving more information from the Crown.

3 I/ g( e  H0 H8 z# T# x* yDavidson said outside court it is not unusual for information such as autopsy results to be delayed, especially in what he called "a complex case."

, H, ?) E, U) O' K% U( g8 x6 o8 z9 EThe foster mother was charged with second-degree murder last week after a three-year-old boy she was caring for died of brain trauma.

The woman was also looking after a second foster child, as well as two of her own children.

4 q# M$ K2 z4 V狠心的女人，至少有照顾不周罪。小男孩刚被领养时，胖乎乎的，死时却骨瘦如柴。

是呀, 我那天一听这个事, 眼泪都快下来了. 那孩子太可怜了. 这女的还是McEwan教护士课程的老师呢. 好在学校现在立刻把她解雇了. 希望法庭还孩子一个公道.

共有5个小孩在她家，2个亲生，3个领养的。搞不好是领养小孩骗补助的，否则解释不通
