Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
8 {! `8 k! e0 A: k9 zDuties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
. b2 N  w( t; V8 P. q. K- Supervise kitchen staff
* X/ E3 o9 K9 h. E. G- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- n, ~, F, W, U' a- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
. t- A& |2 x$ x! y. m( ]4 U- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
  W1 K. y1 T1 u: ^" n6 {+ \- Work night shifts, as necessary
- h' X. X& ~/ {# h3 `Requirements:
4 o5 @* J  h: p* N- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
/ a+ k6 n' [# q# R& F- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.
- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
