Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
7 r( ~) w; H# }6 r# ODuties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
! z  C, ~2 Z# n# `  F# s6 W* h- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
% `# U0 i- d  s4 K1 j- S" F- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
2 m1 B1 e8 H# j6 ~3 a  D: f- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
+ w# k, j+ D/ |& ], D- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.

This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
