Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
# O; i' _: q% f  H  `8 J- Supervise kitchen staff
7 H  m  f! V0 t" Q- r4 n8 O5 B- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
( y) \, W/ y$ T: l- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
/ }0 b. ?) f- ?1 X- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
( e: E& |! }6 c" Z3 `/ R- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
2 M# `2 ?+ y, j& ?% t- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
2 b$ p+ A8 @' A8 o& h- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.

This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
' x1 [0 h, |% F& {Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
