I saw God's image in a homeless man.

Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me:
7 B3 t3 X8 a/ y1 z# b"I am going to send it back".
, V7 z/ h! P3 D4 g2 m* ~& ]) r3 MI did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:
- l! \; j1 R5 N( C "I am sorry, what are you sending back?"
He said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage."
' t. ]: `- q4 }- f) u* w"Oh, you found a wallet, and you are going to send it back to the person who lost it?"
+ q/ x2 d6 b( h, p0 `"Yes, I did."
6 F* E: C" x, u5 @# Z$ ]Finally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post.
" ?  M7 v5 z$ W: a( CHe took the ID card from the wallet, and showed me the address of the loser of the wallet. I saw there were several one-hundred bills in the wallet.
/ T. a; I( |" Z( f3 z  Z3 ]( |"Are you going to take some money from the wallet to pay the postage?"
0 H/ o! B! `( h( k. @"No, I am not. I do not do those things."
He took out his  wallet, which was nearly worn-out, small, and almost empty. There were some coins inside.
I gave him a bubbled envelope, and instructed him where to write the addresses. He wrote the owner's address, but stopped at writing a return address. He asked:
/ S' y1 U- R8 i: Y# P2 A+ p"Is it okay that I do not write this part?"
2 E& w2 W7 w1 B2 J7 ~"Yes, you may." I thought he must want to be a nameless hero. But he said:
  B; [  {* S' V6 X% u"I do not have an address."
% `# J2 Y( w( h, c* k  h5 lI was surprised: "oh, where do you live?"
He did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."
My heart had a sudden jump. I realized that this is a homeless man who found money but was sending it back to the person who lost it.
" c1 a+ B+ H3 s8 Q( t* l1 aHe did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity.

such a story should be shared to more people. Or you should even have contacted CBC or other media for publicity. it is touching, inspiring and news worthy. Please at least share on Facebook.

if you'd like care about those homeless who sleep at LRT station, you may visit those homeless my wife and provide some food to them. I once met some homeless at downtown LRT station in winter morning 7:00 am, those people are very pitiful, they need some food.
