Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

After 5 years’ development, we are expanding our operation with the acquisition of new office location. We are a firm that provide flexibility and work-life balance. We are a paperless office and believe a technology lead to high quality and outstanding service for our clients.
8 U' c; b- T" ]) T; L) pWe are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
8 L! F, T$ ~  W+ l•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
' s6 u5 |- o2 V9 S* z•        Prepare financial statements
•        Prepare corporate tax returns
•        File GST returns
& l, J# S  U$ H: c- J•        Process payroll
' g' z: s: B/ G: ]) i+ W% j•        File T4/T5 returns
•        Prepare personal tax returns
•        Communication with our clients and government agencies

6 m) w. U- T( R1 p8 R1 [7 fThe position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

3 w5 E& h8 d' M( X# ~Consideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.

我不是找工作的，自己有想过读书读这个专业，只是想了解一下这行。

0 W$ Y% g0 h* ?& N8 r1 H+ @, F不要读这个专业，除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business

8 x8 i( f1 v  A2 |, d! D这个专业的新手一捞一大把，供大大高于求，但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了，缺点是薪水太低，一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了，供小于求，在招工的网站，大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来，这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
