Job Description:

Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
) r  i; O+ x3 k6 P7 I2 [6 t5 \& ~Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
4 c2 T9 X' `8 r; JEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
( f/ C* F- A  A' K) ^Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
; R7 ]4 s/ e* r: \Rectify arising problems or complaints
8 x* W4 X0 n' d8 ~: EGive prepared plates the “final touch”
+ Z& A4 N0 X0 F" r% T; i3 M7 aPerform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef

Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks
Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
