Job Description:

  t- X5 ^5 X6 g* t4 SPlan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
& a* _5 ?. k9 S1 p4 a8 HEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
; E0 z, _  P* cSupervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
! K8 m$ `( [4 B2 B8 r6 b( X4 ?Give prepared plates the “final touch”
$ c1 Z( n1 m  g7 mPerform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef

Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks
Communication and leadership skills
) q% Y2 u* R% \7 V( _. sKeep up with cooking trends and best practices
: i' c  u# w$ s6 \8 VWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
