After you landed air plane, you will be given Aliens entry card and Aliens departure card. There are some statement on the back of the card showing you have to go through accommodation registration at local police station if you do not live at hotels. : V: b& r) c3 g$ y. N
It seems the major reason is, you need the registration of temporary residence for overseas visitors to apply for visas. 0 n7 W7 }, I+ T8 @* Y- Z
