　　A hundred leagues locked in ice,

) m  @( j9 L0 m( l: Z& F) e6 i　　Both sides of the Great Wall

1 m" [0 p  |  [2 ^　　One single white immensity.
8 Y- J9 a0 ^7 O
0 s3 O6 s- [" s　　The Yellow River"s swift current

. H% K) C5 T" E: D' K* N5 b　　Is stilled from end to end.
- d& \6 ~9 f, h, Y2 v. D
　　The mountains dance like silver snakes

　　And the highlands* charge like wax-hued elephants,

　　On a fine day, the land,

　　Grows more enchanting.

　　This land so rich in beauty

　　Had little poetry in their souls;

　　Proud Son of Heaven for a day,

; |0 I* k4 [7 `　　Knew only shooting eagles, bow outstretched

　　Look to this age alone.
