昨天收到通知, 酒税今天起增加, 主要内容如下:0 o( a( C7 d( O3 s% o' i$ O

On March 26, 2015, the Government of Alberta announced an increase in the liquor9 t( h* }3 W6 t9 N- o5 c
mark-up rates. The new rates will be effective as of March 27, 2015.& L( T( J7 y, y5 y1 `! E" I! ^, _
! b' K' O* h8 Q. G+ gThe increase is a 22-cent per litre increase for most products. The exceptions are
7 d+ Q8 e* n. ?; y, Y* V- wproducts from small breweries, and products from cottage wineries that sell at farmers’
- m, \, Y) ^2 }; s; Ugates/markets, with no increase. Mid-sized breweries have an increase of 11 cents per! F; r& f$ y' L" R
litre applied to their products. This across-the-board increase maintains the flat nature
$ v# R! n) j1 \0 Qof Alberta’s liquor mark-up. In addition, Alberta will still have liquor mark-up rates that

Some of the impacts on the wholesale prices are:
' {: g; f* N9 A% W( A· Beer: 90 cents per dozen; approximately 8 cents per 341ml bottle or 355ml can.
0 S% c _& W; v4 E· Spirits: Approximately 16 cents per 750ml bottle.
