Z( V1 ^+ B1 YBuilders started construction on 468 new single detached homes last month, a 34 per cent increase from August 2013.; M- a& y+ g6 o0 G
0 _0 ?) H9 X, B# w“Right now we're running flat out, we’re building as much as we can,” said Rob Busby, construction manager for Landmark Homes.

) `+ q! c% H, ^! |The increased demand is due to strong job and population growth, according to Christina Butchart, senior analyst with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
