买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:6 k( H: l& `/ n
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
) `, N+ y' Y' P) `# L$ L: y$ C•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

A share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.8 R5 @  r* p( c% W) }

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750. ! R3 ~( ?5 N% ^( u

6 c' S  }  A( l! @3 F: cThe claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.

3 Z% t& \! k4 M* p3 G; I. l5 iWhen more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.
