买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

' X8 v/ b! s2 j! C$ Q  RYou can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:6 s) Z- q8 I0 ^8 G7 T# A# q" q
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
( S& @# `* Q) ~; t% M•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).
5 d* }- t6 R1 ^& oSo the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

A share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750.

The claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.  `" H4 }9 F, u0 u' Z

5 W4 @/ [7 j- fWhen more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.: M! S! Y0 `3 ]  M3 L4 W
