Position Summary:
! V6 q* s) j3 h& @* V( r( K  Q6 L* yTo provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

, S  y0 M/ C9 l& W5 V$ a# W1 A- i$ [    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
) J/ S  L! q/ b7 O! I! O: E    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
) S9 x4 k0 q6 @' z    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
    Actively participate in training initiatives
: S8 g! O7 ~: _1 D# e    Participate in community marketing initiatives

8 J% p! m1 q3 v, GThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1 @; J% I9 U6 f5 ~' F' D
    High School and or Post Secondary Education
& v- e7 _# J. U8 ~! O# X7 t    Previous customer service experience
; H7 G; O2 B6 S) z5 N" q0 `    Previous sales experience an asset
+ Z" s$ Y# S5 V4 x3 H2 ^    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
1 F7 k4 G2 p, @5 s2 N, o4 f( y: i) P    Strong analytical and organizational skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
