+ P4 ?) {) _ W, cOverall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

Key Responsibilities:

1 g( E- z- h3 I8 ]• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 
" Y) r1 L6 h5 v. d4 G8 Z0 P$ J8 V
• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

5 V- z6 ]9 X6 F4 b/ a, [• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours. 

% z. P: y+ I2 a• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

" g: v% G+ L5 s- z7 d8 R• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.

Job Qualifications# m, [) h) ?8 ]7 W4 A
• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 

/ E& f- X' L) A• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.
# C1 N e$ _# q% g
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

1 A( b0 S% _& V( F) z• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

- H: u& x9 `7 @• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.% ^: N: A" j: I$ A/ p7 O. y9 E

• Travel within the assigned region.

. s0 j* X3 `9 T V1 |• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
