Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

Key Responsibilities:

- Y! q& s& Y- A& w9 E4 W4 Y! J' z" E• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 
( e6 Z4 L; p% ^0 J4 `
• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

% B# q G8 L% x• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.
# L Q3 _9 j. s. M* D' P: S1 _( I
• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.
) b# z$ Q* g* ~7 J& K( A* f& n9 A* P: J
• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.

Job Qualifications
: k9 ? N% f a2 L$ J! j3 h; g• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 

. Y$ g( C0 w* R8 m7 x, z• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.
% B4 m/ L" ~ u/ q$ W% `4 V! ?4 b- i
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
9 v7 m( j+ v6 Z* c* u. L7 a- }
• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
; z3 j7 |8 B' \
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.3 e% |9 c) M" l1 L( z

• Travel within the assigned region.
