母亲探亲第二天，拉肚子，肠炎患了，吃了止泻药，不拉了，但肚子有点疼。因为还没买健康保险，送医院前想问问有没有OTC的药可以缓解下肚子疼。

They took Imodium already , I heard she has to stop taking Imodium if  diarrhea stops

不知道吡哌酸会不会管用

最好还是去emergency做个stool culture, 排除c. diff这种病菌, 如果不是这种病菌那可以吃imodium, 如果是病菌感染, 吃那个反而会延迟治疗, 让自己觉得病好了其实细菌还在繁殖.
