The first annual Edmonton Journal Book Drive and Sale will raise money for Raise a Reader which supports literacy programs in the Capital Region. 5 G* T( {2 M' ~+ ?3 b" z1 n% {, R( L7 C j2 G6 s% j5 e
The sale will take place beside the Alberta Aviation Museum --11410 Kingsway Ave. from Sept. 22-24. 0 m# D( v9 F4 _/ e2 }# e6 I, P( P+ ~- w$ Q/ @9 l4 E
Volunteers are needed to make this event a success. If you can donate an hour or two of your time to sort books, please call 429-5363 / [7 i0 l& b% f$ F2 V; [. u. x" v0 u: \& z) ?
Volunteers will earn credits towards purchasing books and will have first pick of the books.
