•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
0 i: z# M/ u/ V1 g8 _5 i( q/ F* Q•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies5 Q& J v% q- c
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
7 t# H( }% q6 n) @! ]•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
* G/ ], x6 e1 N4 X& F6 T" G•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:
* T1 Q4 E( ]9 A. c+ A3 m; S3 I' X3 h•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;; g$ T+ X+ Y0 a1 m) R( n; i
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;$ u; m* T; [) e+ `5 B
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
" ^0 F& W! Y; V•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
$ d" Z9 k1 N* g. Z. O4 l& e# U•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.8 G. `# b4 t* n# Y+ e/ L
