Key Responsibilities are as follows:
a1 b. \9 Q2 o•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
& ` H3 x* X3 D# a+ K/ N& ?•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
, O9 M4 y6 T% u) r8 l•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
3 E8 H1 X9 J- ~7 `) w•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.; a" |6 |. L& _; X
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

) W4 s2 m8 l+ t6 W: @: K$ k•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;3 ?' Z, O8 H% p" y
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
1 w! q( Y( D9 C9 _ W: V•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
/ E/ B$ k+ l8 Z& y•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
7 S3 ~1 U9 H6 f- Q0 ]•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
