Position Title: Program Manager (Downtown Office) – Full time position

This position reports directly to the District Program Manager

& C% q& ^& s3 j3 I% mKey Responsibilities are as follows:
$ O" U! u& _% s# E- Q•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
4 X& D: k* O1 r' C; q•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies4 u3 e  c" _, c4 j) ~
•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting' \9 }1 b. Y2 O/ z$ N) B
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
! K  E, ]. ~) f. [, u+ u" D•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential5 |, j. |, l  a( y7 |- r

Qualifications:
* J1 _: ~2 o3 D! Z•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
9 o/ t$ l# l/ b; q! [$ H•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;! w& u, M) M- c8 v9 B0 g/ C: n. R# S
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
( V! A4 u+ j" _9 Z. Z•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential ' t( ?9 _' D, m- G* H9 `
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.( a- J5 ?& a. L  {
