According to the Oxford Dictionary, both fish and fishes can be used as the plural form, but fish is more common. : U) w6 d# k: v5 J& D3 ]. Y( K
& E2 s5 E4 l) r/ m9 v- c9 E& BWe use fishes when talking about different types of fish. For example, I caught five fish today and they were different fishes.

+ x2 ]2 r" w) NFish is uncountable when we talk about the meat of fish. For instance, I want to have fish for supper. |
