Fish作为食物原料来讲的时候,是不可数名词。我们i说I ate an apple 但是不说 I ate a fish(不知道在猫的语言里是不是这样讲),1 s1 s; Y8 H! m7 x4 H7 x
说I like seafood and I can eat a whole fish for dinner.还差不多, 通常就说 fish。这时候就是不可数的。. o0 w# U8 t J5 E
我们去钓鱼的时候,fish就是可数的了,但是记住,你钓了几条?one fish, two fish,都是fish,而不是 two fishes。 . S6 i" \2 ^9 j8 y3 M/ C9 h难道fish的复数就是fish本身吗。也是也不是。同一种Fish的复数就是fish,fishes是用在不同种类的fish时候 , o1 t5 D1 B9 p; C" D: W7 L1 ?' @2 q$ I2 Q

According to the Oxford Dictionary, both fish and fishes can be used as the plural form, but fish is more common. i" |* O# v" v7 }

We use fishes when talking about different types of fish. For example, I caught five fish today and they were different fishes. * l" v/ y' v( h2 V: J0 Z: N
