Job Responsibilities2 N" h# H1 l. q, {; J: v+ N* i, V
•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
# A5 I) B/ Z; t•        Oversee hotel security requirements. 3 _5 x; P! }/ r
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary./ }: K: J( d3 X; t2 ?' e9 v
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
7 t/ X9 O2 H6 H•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel./ {, ~- O" H- A' r1 U. R- Y
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
" Q/ x1 I% ]# c! _9 G•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
0 S, M1 V7 y: N8 O( o/ h•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.; Y- V% K7 l9 x/ E* p( A9 G
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.   q* H3 f" l  S5 p
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
) V6 B! n3 n3 X  A! H) }•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. % T" I1 F7 D; J4 ^) M
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. ; q% ~' A7 h( \) W
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.+ T9 D  |6 P$ A; ^4 U9 S
•        Attend Cluster meetings. $ F& j. z7 C9 y: W  `. c  h. ~3 ^
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
5 U- v  k) S$ N, m& s•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department $ c% L$ h# A* R. e; [. B
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
+ ^0 i) s# J, D1 D" m4 @0 F•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
9 o8 O$ Q' i' T, _' O+ y- e•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float / _1 [/ V3 L5 D$ T
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

! F& b* b8 C9 q) v* S& [; T( V•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
: B: \! s7 x5 s/ ]) ^4 e1 _, g• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
6 m4 C$ E' q9 r6 o/ F3 u• Ability to lead and develop;3 S' P# _$ J0 |4 f
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
8 A/ ?3 f; i( H1 ]* _• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;- D6 t( V. N8 y: }! ?5 V
• Ability to work within deadlines;# P% K, n% {7 ]' |) F) z, v
• High level of creativity and innovation;4 p5 u- F; G% [4 N' D) X
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;9 M: T3 m9 C7 g" V! j7 ]
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
