To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.. C# R7 {" M( G0 i- w4 r& {

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
4 f- ~9 c# @5 M& ^* V( l( u' e& C• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
+ `/ Z4 H! O" W7 O$ F• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;  c7 o; I0 _. n7 r# x0 v
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;! W6 d1 j) F  v9 i' s+ d1 D
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.* n. z# h6 m! |0 }6 ]2 p8 z5 Q/ ]
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;' h) F& ^; t# ]. Z$ N1 X# c3 F
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;. D6 k6 v4 W* _( D) e1 ^9 B
• Participate in trade shows;6 v% W/ f9 i6 X6 {4 d$ ~
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
+ K0 \, _* A9 Y3 I, N• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;# t, c; U. B9 [0 Q% F8 u
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

5 {7 r3 \: x7 w5 }; h- `•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
* I4 K% W& v/ }7 j9 q3 x3 o9 ~• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
* y+ M3 G/ L7 X, `6 ]• Ability to lead and develop;
; z$ m- B$ A6 h# h. N6 u( Q• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;! V2 v" u6 m3 C- J
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;

• Ability to work within deadlines;
