To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

; D! ^* Q# Q; M• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
. U3 v" P- }- w" R8 P1 l• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
, _  w( |3 a  ]; [• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;

• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;

• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

& j; O3 C; O4 M% j4 d" y$ i/ n•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property

; Y/ U4 w' S3 d1 `  `% e2 U• Ability to lead and develop;
8 j: z2 y& I/ w* s# u) b+ x• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;

& U! d4 g* e. D; M1 J' Q: ?6 q• High level of creativity and innovation;
