·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear
1 a2 `( _( R) o: M
* ]; {6 F2 r& N7 I" F) U% R·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters
  j7 q4 v8 S/ \5 z
·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings
+ w! k) ~7 w$ m; c+ ~* k* {
& v1 k/ z) I+ E% n% r9 q·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

" D' _' d1 z- N, k1 [9 ?1 f·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Position Requirements

; ^, [/ U  `* z; \) K9 j
·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training
: ~5 A. k% Q; r5 j  ]. _
+ u+ O$ N9 B6 s- b, K1 Q0 E7 E0 \0 c·         Attention to detail is a must
4 P  ^! Y) w' b, k1 o% s
1 I# Q2 Z3 R7 ?* x·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

4 p( d# E1 v& ^( `. ~# v9 u6 M·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously

·         Strong written and oral communication skills.

Work Conditions
