Responsibilities

·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear
7 n1 m7 c2 e( c2 E# z& Y- D
0 ~7 T* u7 L( }% o" w* z0 }  ^·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters
* q$ @3 a- ^+ V" ]0 n. p2 }/ G
·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

! \8 |1 \# o3 ?* f·         Reviewing vendor drawings

' e& {5 Y5 }1 ~·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

  X0 x' v- Z7 i3 D9 u·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

, e3 M( ]  i) n: O% ]! }: \·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

  E; l) @4 u- H6 A( x; O·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

) V. j# ?9 r4 B! l% Z/ D9 g9 F·         BSc in Electrical Engineering

7 w  Z( v# ^' M* Y" _·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

·         Attention to detail is a must
$ a# f, X$ S4 Y
·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

7 a) L7 K) I& X$ w1 o·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

) R) j# W9 ]# Q- E: V! l·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
