. B, A9 x f2 m, S" gI’m told it’s possible we’ll see an “in development” announcement sometime in 2012 for a large megapixel DSLR from Canon. I have heard both 39mp and 46mp prototype(s) are out in the field.* S7 B* w# [3 v- K6 g) ^1 P
- W6 G/ I7 a2 f wIn development announcements seem to be getting more popular with Canon and their high end products. As we’ve seen from the EOS-1D C and EF 200-400 f/4L IS 1.4X, it seems to allow them a lot of latitude in testing and helps with public relations. It also stops sites like this speculating on arrival of new products. :). y+ p! F6 k' Q5 q! m
