最近有没有团聚移民下来的？貌似该政策了？

刚收到团聚移民的信，信里说 we pleased to tell you that you met the sponsorship immigration and  your application is complete.
然后又说 the Canada Immigration Center in Edmonton will contact you. By the time of appointment, you need to bring an original document 。。。。。。
罗嗦了半天，也没看到要我邮寄护照啊
我记得以前不是有人说收到移民信以后，要在多久之日内邮寄护照吗

# R+ J$ x4 M$ l8 H如果你是办夫妻团聚，好像一般都是3到6个月，一般都是移民局和被团聚的一方要护照。

如果你是办父母团聚移民的话：
& Y$ T$ d& d- M: I, u那只是表明你的sponsorship application完成了，后边才是真正的开始呢。
% E5 n  r, W& R4 N我父母07年申请团聚移民，好像不到一年，担保申请就下来了，后边又等了4年多。
: G5 d! A$ `- a2 H7 U
6 j2 F/ Z) Z) h' B4 m* ]) w% h" \后半部分，你父母的移民申请，和他们体检等等，那只是又一个新的story开始。耐心等等，我父母被要求邮寄护照，护照邮寄后居然还等了三个月才拿到签证。据说这已经算是加快后的速度了。

如果是第一步sponsor完成，那还有漫长的等待。
如果是第二步完成，现在不寄护照了。我是收到的信上直接给了appointment地址，时间段，那一天的上午或下午都可以，到CanadaPlace去登陆就行了。如果要reschedule自己再联系。

Edmonton immigration center will contact you 一定是寄信。要地址正确。你能收到这封信就能收到Edmonton immigration center的信。

我是去年10月份交的材料，今年8月底收到了信。
但是就是不明白信里的 Canada immigration center in Edmonton will contact you 是怎么回事。
" g+ ^& Q- w6 z  r7 r今天我去canada place 问了，令人震惊的是 Canada immigration center closed 了，只有个老头在守门，然后给我们说从今年的7月1日起，这里就关闭了，目前整个加拿大只有一个电话可以打，然后给了我们一个电话号码，让我们自己去预约。
% a+ G: G' t' S( D9 o( K但是这个电话奇难打啊，基本上都是出于busy的状态
所以想问问大家都是怎么弄的呀？

- C- q" k9 G# Q因为涉及到我要回国，我希望能在回国之前拿到PR，这样我就不用重新申请签证了
如果您确实经历过这件事，确定他们会寄信的话，我就耐心的再等等了

现在只是看看你有没有少材料,不太注重材料的具体内容,如少材料,cic会发信告诉你具体补什么,但是建议最好在started processing前把材料补齐,如果被return  for resubmission会耽误很多时间.

7 H0 k) J8 _* w" o虽然写started processing,但实际上你的case并没有在开始审理,就是说cic还没有开始看你的材料的内容.(上面我提到过)

You may only withdraw your application before the In-Canada Application for Permanent Resident Status decision has been made. There are no refunds after processing has started.

审过以后,有两种情况

1.所有材料齐全并没有问题,申请担保人符合资格,会发确定信给你,告诉你first stage of approval,这时候就要恭喜了,没有特殊情况,你的case基本没问题了.(cic会发信通知你)

detail:We sent you a letter on xxxdate to xxx,Canada,  about approval in principle for you to become a Permanent Resident of Canada. If this address is not correct, please contact us. Thank you.

2.但是并是所有申请都会通过,这样你的file就会到local office,等待排期面试.

之后的２－４个星期，你会收到另一封信，有一个appointment叫你去拿移民visa,就是好多人一起，大家象发卷子一样，把visa发给你，但一定要个担保人同去．

a final decision will made at that time.
