Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. * x8 G2 }0 H0 W5 f5 t5 t% t

Key Responsibilities:
, q) j5 ]; v) q5 O( ^• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person& S+ Z1 _# {; L4 ~9 F; C
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
; {0 J; I# u! X• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately: s5 V2 L9 N; ]+ ^9 ?
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
0 A' T. l7 }. J$ J1 ^• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
1 h9 B K1 T: l# r$ M& M• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker; K" f+ s+ i8 y
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events

• Keep the reception area tidy and clean

• Maintain front counter service files' P' l9 Q' X/ d z4 R5 a
• Perform general office duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:% B' v p, v6 C+ y! q' l
• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
1 h7 O( D% M: a% S+ y6 r• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
$ C! ?5 i" [- [• Good English writing and oral communication skills
+ X9 q* n$ }9 H4 p9 L• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients- G6 d5 \ b$ v9 g5 K" q% u J b
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook
+ N2 V( I/ Y! ^) T* u• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

Qualifications:. q% j7 [. b0 @6 c( [
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
- R* m o% Y# |! g4 U: b0 s' Z- f• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment7 |8 V w8 p% A/ K U8 @) k
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
W7 d7 ~% X: H' x/ l• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
