The opthalmologist likely felt confident about his/her diagnosis based on the symptoms without the need for culture test. It's hard to say./ W$ U; x/ T) r1 f
In your case because it's getting worse, the best bet would be to go to ER again and specifically ask for a different referral for a different ophalmologist. 3 i1 e( r0 G) c6 TGood luck!
