- provide volunteers to update membership database
7 e) l8 {7 p6 X0 a( g1 e$ j- recruiting, performing security and reference checks, providing orientation, supervising, referring and placing volunteers
. q0 z5 N' Q! ~# @- train volunteers for ISP and provide duties
5 T: z- W/ m$ {2 t1 l2 _4 c- train volunteers for Centre and provide duties8 o U1 x% M- H
- provide volunteers for various programs 1 a6 f. b1 L2 q) f0 G: ~$ Q8 I
- coordinate, update Volunteer Manual- h$ Q0 B# m6 p
- planning and coordinating Volunteer Appreciation% t4 G& W- g5 G1 ]
- participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities
; v: S! p2 e1 a- W, d8 c- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to volunteer services, J5 v% C0 r j5 [' _( v
- assist in writing ISP proposals and reports
- Z( I* y5 G5 r: T% C+ s- provide volunteers for Centre activities as needed

- promoting volunteerism through various media including the 3 main Chinese newspapers, Chinese radio station and the Chinese television, Fairchild TV, brochures, pamphlets, booth displays, special events

9 U, a5 A: C& V9 ^- planning and implementing training sessions for volunteers

- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

1 ?/ }+ N/ z$ V: p0 f: F& GQualifications- [* Y" O' I1 E
- degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education
8 J8 i7 S d6 E' e! `5 e- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
9 G# T q9 ~1 i' ]. ^- experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services5 A4 u8 o7 `) w
- leadership skills
