- recruiting, performing security and reference checks, providing orientation, supervising, referring and placing volunteers3 q r5 z. O4 C' U7 |. w
- train volunteers for ISP and provide duties8 c- B. U& l% {2 n* @1 E
- train volunteers for Centre and provide duties
% S! V7 T) p) Q; o& t- provide volunteers for various programs
0 `" E ]- L' q# F8 }- coordinate, update Volunteer Manual

- participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities8 a7 A; ^1 {- L+ z
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to volunteer services: X2 D! K0 D) R$ ^; E2 H
- assist in writing ISP proposals and reports0 l* g# @9 y" c6 k9 S0 o- B
- provide volunteers for Centre activities as needed2 |4 w# C$ ~3 c( g9 S; A
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as needed

- development and distribution of a volunteer manual + Q Z6 z0 q0 |0 N
- planning and implementing training sessions for volunteers

Qualifications
" V4 t& w$ [% |3 U. J" E" |. m- degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education+ x8 J9 X; Q; `5 k$ ~- q6 y
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
6 w$ |& e1 D+ {1 Z, E" t, l- experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services. o- O2 N7 l# H8 j4 p) _% }
- leadership skills5 v1 k% u0 V1 U& G3 Y* V1 {
- management and supervision skills0 L! k0 U) m6 O, M+ m. H/ |
- exceptional communication, interpersonal skills
