EARLY LEARNING FAMILY PROGRAM

The program will be offered at St. Teresa Catholic School every Tuesday for seven: p6 N8 z2 B$ C- ]
weeks beginning March 6th and ending April 24th, 2012., c' P& S2 ]. P; p; y& t
(No session March 27th, 2012)
! w; H! a ]0 k% D( l" `Snack: 3:15pm to 3:45pm
: @$ y' m* O; D3 `! b3 hRhymes that Bind: 3:45pm to 4:45pm' m) c" I; `& B' v3 a7 J
This “drop-in” program introduces parents to various strategies that can support/ `% @0 G& W4 ^$ {
their child’s early literacy and language experiences. It is recommended for n- C0 t* M2 W8 }( m
children that have been identified with language needs. RHYMES THAT BIND is an4 j% L c3 D. y! w
oral family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0 – 6. It
3 v9 u9 ?% e1 n. aencourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children in a relaxed,; C# @, k2 S L$ X
fun, and supportive environment.
7 @* S1 ^. {% u; @/ v/ ]; rEach family will receive a booklet of songs and rhymes at the last session. No
2 y4 m+ n6 ~& z. G$ Hregistration is required; a snack will be provided.
