EARLY LEARNING FAMILY PROGRAM

The program will be offered at St. Teresa Catholic School every Tuesday for seven* H; m0 K; v+ q2 l( r
weeks beginning March 6th and ending April 24th, 2012.

Snack: 3:15pm to 3:45pm' }1 b1 X |; C- H1 P( V
Rhymes that Bind: 3:45pm to 4:45pm8 F6 I, j' t0 S: F3 i2 E
This “drop-in” program introduces parents to various strategies that can support
. e$ K' }, r( _ k8 ttheir child’s early literacy and language experiences. It is recommended for
8 `+ w" M% E. V& `# e( Schildren that have been identified with language needs. RHYMES THAT BIND is an5 g0 _0 B8 z! a, @- \
oral family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0 – 6. It" r% I* g7 L/ `
encourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children in a relaxed,# |1 _5 l9 U2 b: Q7 R4 K2 `5 y0 t
fun, and supportive environment.
0 ~# ?( S/ A5 PEach family will receive a booklet of songs and rhymes at the last session. No
0 R9 f3 o: E' _registration is required; a snack will be provided.
