Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
: A6 m  J8 {/ JShifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

Main duties:
1 C2 y8 J+ ]- D- ^( h•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
: A; {( j' M: J. q  ^•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
1 n, R. v- n2 ?! a& R. w/ Z/ E•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
/ I$ b( _5 l$ T4 e6 I& g•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

  S4 J1 h" k4 f•        Completion of secondary education is required
•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
2 d3 e9 _/ T) n•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
