Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
# w: ^4 N# |: z1 n3 N; eReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
: }  p( p& n. x; A•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.( u( k- O; Z) D% V1 L
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.8 h! E/ }5 z) t* d! }& G7 M  f/ ^
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
' b9 M! @3 m/ T! y5 g; o; n•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.6 F; T: S" ]% K  B5 |. I
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. ; h7 h  |- D  l2 G
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.5 ~3 I& Q# n& a- d7 N! Q4 M
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
- o0 ]$ g" @0 D/ `% E; o•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
- x: E' x+ S% \; E* s: J•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).4 {6 s( k  w6 K/ s4 A1 [
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
3 U: f# l. D/ @* @1 K! u6 p# F& p•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.: g3 }- i* \( s4 \* N5 `$ j) @
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.1 M' X+ ?; \: e: c
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

Qualifications/ D% g) Y9 r7 E; Z1 s( z+ u) V
Requirements:
' ]* t0 _, N6 R: I2 u* U: a•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
8 j9 T& L; z% a" C' A1 y" G. R& E•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
3 D# R# }8 ]) Z, [- x  ~/ x$ U7 f" a•        Strong Union Relations experience required. # H, j6 D# o  x: y' B) m1 R
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.9 I, X0 y/ |' Y
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
