Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
+ a9 ~4 y% H- l5 FReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- R; k' w5 @/ s- ?. P•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
2 Y! p6 m  D9 a  \8 \•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
) a/ A, M6 ^% w* r( Q0 ~$ Z•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
3 y3 ^% u  e/ T* M; E) M•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
; R5 t' v3 y9 R# \: d( `•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
9 E3 D( X) c7 m. {•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
9 q$ @! ^4 R8 [# T& V! v•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
4 t# Q/ m' `/ b' w: p•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
5 x/ |$ A" t& r  X5 O•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
7 s0 K, \# u3 U1 v; i( NRequirements:
0 v+ c4 q8 U  H% s% ^2 K4 k•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
' d9 ?. x8 k* v  F6 `1 K7 F+ k! w•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
+ o+ L/ S' e9 U7 x; e•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
- n: ^! x& Z- q* F& \, w•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
