Description
* Q7 {% {( x4 ]5 r/ q. m+ @* d5 QTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
/ c. q2 _- x) k5 ?  U, TReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:: P8 `3 p* h8 `2 a* k9 d
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.: R, |/ @% ~8 ~+ i$ C- x
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.1 E6 R0 ]- E' m$ @' E- D* {- A- p/ \
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
% j. V5 v" E' y4 O( [2 y! u6 _5 h+ a•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
$ W' T# Q; r) x, o+ a8 B( w8 l) V•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. ! S! Y: C# K" J6 U8 ]
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates./ i; x* W& S$ l  W  W8 _& n! P& L
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.# U4 I3 H9 ?- P1 T
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers./ j6 x% p4 Z" Z  y
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
1 X' U; Q0 z+ v•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
0 x0 L& E' l4 s•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.) s. W5 r2 i/ l6 I
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
4 z/ b0 h- F9 w•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
7 L/ ^1 \; u3 S) n8 }( ORequirements:/ n! C) f, F+ x& `. u. W
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. ' l/ M, m1 \. @: n, C% E
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
; V: w6 \( i* M% k•        Strong Union Relations experience required. ( n* l* b" W* I' R4 g' O* [4 Z1 l1 d
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
0 L6 N# Y2 H7 Z6 k# W2 y( r5 \•        CHRP Designation is an asset.; i0 W+ o+ ^$ }5 k+ W( L
