The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals

' T+ \  N$ ?6 ?• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

) w3 b# a. d" N% _Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
5 h5 }8 X, P! `5 r# R• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
. ~3 {4 F4 n" L; f  E- y• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
6 X/ G* G+ C, I7 N: D• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
  L$ M7 e8 L7 t+ Q2 c- L- P• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
