The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

5 [' ~/ `) ~! K" u$ |& d( e% f7 P• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
' q- a& ?  j$ z5 |' K+ S0 @& H6 R• Program implementation
9 T3 ~5 {" Q# d' j" p9 {• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
2 A, j. O  D' C4 W3 \% a• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
. ~" l* u& D% g* q• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
* y% u' v3 u5 \9 J, C6 e5 o• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

' X7 Q' g! Q' s* ]* H! \5 `$ B# T% gMinimum Qualifications:
Education
  A% c# d- f. O* z7 w8 }• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
2 h/ \! i! E! Y. s) x' A/ m% M! Z• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
# C! B! P  B4 T* A! G' N• Standard First Aid with CPR
; }' N  O8 V% L; A) @: a, Y1 e" `• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
/ D2 C1 Y6 L! b• Experience with personal care
" L: d0 O8 F+ I" h• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
: e1 o: }5 M, Q" |$ t* @Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
