The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
' W4 ]5 _' i2 F/ T• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
( |# E4 e7 N7 f! b  S• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
& t. U; H, [- a• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
4 v/ K' a# k# c! k3 j/ c0 ]& U& g' Q• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
# X- Q( n+ H5 DEducation
  g! \# ?: k0 Z• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
) n' x6 P. G' d7 \- k  N, ?• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
8 F$ o( {* i1 C& S% ?• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
1 }) W7 L- @. @( K" n% Y% j• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
3 X$ l- s! v  T! i# m$ E• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
