The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
' O1 |" \1 {5 X# W; m& K: ^• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
2 ?9 ~" C' T. l2 A' f9 f! ]• Program implementation
8 u4 y- k  I$ }6 O, ^• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
8 g% j. Z& G! c5 _0 {: E" Q• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

% U1 M/ n# \, X0 c, @; bMinimum Qualifications:
Education
; i' a: g' t. g! d6 v3 `• Completion of a high school diploma
( w3 Z+ g, i) d• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
  W9 j% u6 \. j' w1 u0 H# J• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
