The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community0 M+ D1 Q3 e7 }* Z& y4 J! N' A

• Completion of daily documentation and data collection, H3 @5 |, Y9 [2 O0 s3 I
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure9 }( Z9 U( Y" y& ~$ w# E3 C! r* c
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals0 K/ t' J* X4 B% ?3 p
• Behavior management& K' M/ O$ S: |" \$ w% }3 S, v9 k
• Medication Administration

Minimum Qualifications:& u- ^0 |+ U* f/ s) [3 ~
Education
) ~, E" Q% l8 n! |8 E• Completion of a high school diploma
$ L8 Q6 I2 S: G• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
' C" [$ r" T& X% @9 q OTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
' Y9 S% ^- n2 d" F* r; t+ ?6 u# o• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)7 q0 I: I) l* w/ R7 E
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
$ Z# \9 h- K) o7 a" J# P p• Standard First Aid with CPR. Y4 t6 Z; X& b& ?+ S' b6 q: x
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
