6 ]3 c1 c8 ^( `- M4 R1. 800 bucks for putting undercoat potection on the new truck, is it a waste of money? Another 800 bucks for rust proofing? (I don't think i need rust proofing but not sure about undercoating)

2. I want to install mud flaps on the truck (DIY), the truck comes with OE fender flare, which bolted same/similar spots where the mud flaps should be. How should I do the mud flaps? (drill new holes/putting fender and mud flaps on same bolt/others?)

3. Should I wax a new viehcle?

4. Does skid plate actually help?

1，not worth, buy 3-4 cans of under coat and spray it yourself, must be under 100 bucks
2,  buy mud flaps sepcific  for your vehicle, should comes with detailed instruction. Dont buy universal flaps, they are knock offs
3, yes, it called "paint sealer", a very soft and gentel wax. But dont polish

3俺还是觉得漆面保护膜比打蜡要好，以后终生不用打蜡，但是要用好的，不然脱落了就还不如打蜡呢。

3.保护膜不知道要不要特殊的工具,但是去弄这个"paint sealer"的蜡的信息很有用.别人告诉我不要给新车打蜡也是说新车不需要抛光.
4.那个是底盘下装块铁板一样的东西,比如下个河什么的,万一有块大石头,只能顶到那个铁板,不会撞到发动机之类的重要部件..我钻到车底,觉得所有部件都挺结实的,如果不装的话,ground clearance比装了好一点.

4，就2-3mm，不会影响ground clearance
