Position:        Youth Leader
Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)

*might work in other time in some specific days

/ k% z6 p! n1 z* N' j% aTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
- v* t  U& q, f. C4 e& I' E
 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
! l; _6 {  x1 N) s2 A" P Take attendance if available
6 W/ g0 x9 P# K6 Y6 t Provide positive modelling to youth
$ h+ |5 U6 I  N3 E9 e5 M Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
% `) ?% k6 d5 q$ z# ` Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
7 K. n. r+ y& L' @; U Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
 Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
. A* o- ]! Z2 ~. ` Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
0 {& N' k6 t. m- O* o Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

2 C, O' B: Q' E" c5 }' g Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
' x$ y$ e! I" |: M! Q/ k! ~ A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
3 d8 T6 }5 \/ b' Z- O8 K/ K3 }: ` Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
$ V+ I/ l' ~. v. o/ T: f1 X% I5 r& X Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
8 v* w& E" K* N& F5 q' o4 T Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
% H. m% z/ H  ^# p, |0 \, } Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
