Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
2 Q1 c* N9 d: f: oCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
$ |: t, b3 W/ F' m) `*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre
) B( V& Q7 m$ w( z( R
Program Coordinator:        Daniel SUEN


Duties:
To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
3 D0 P) q) ?6 U  u2 P, X. e- O
, W9 b4 C, J7 X) ] Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
; `) j4 y! x, q% I8 V Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
( D2 _& S6 c% {8 X9 T0 E Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
5 l* }; A% h! G1 A; z& d8 ]+ j Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
: t$ Z7 D$ x' u5 S) K8 `, \ Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
) b: w2 J/ @* j! ?2 K# N Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

: B, s. E5 o* P* r5 @" b
 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
2 L1 y8 a: q2 D2 w& s" i, I( T* q Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
5 k6 {+ Q- |; G. M7 U6 [ Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
