1. It's cool:cool
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
5 y4 Z# f" l1 @$ o, U
0 E7 x. W) u% n8 U) N# Y That's cool;he is cool;this is cool., {6 o* n0 C$ Z4 b
1 b3 {9 L# \ }! c
Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)
- l) ^' {- r9 y9 F3 C6 E8 h6 i6 l/ T: f& G: U) c. Q
主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。
9 }) `- `" Q- s1 o6 ~1 R
She (He) was cool in the past.
; E% E3 ]; r& P. t$ s% M/ O# F) ^/ L' f8 Z) d2 Q" w
That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫)

4 V" ]! \ \! [& s# _1 R4 j" Q
但是如果说:Are you cool?
, t; [1 O8 X, h4 f' c0 ?6 p6 o6 l% J9 n! r
She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not. m" e7 Y: o7 |% O

2. Are you trippin'?:trippin' 这个字,是由动词 trip 演变而来。 这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)
* P* a' h& k( O3 S* w9 _
3 Z% ~ H0 |* p! J' ]/ [& U& T They are trippin'. (= tripping)
; x" q7 K9 U( b1 c; B

3. He is a nerd:nerd (A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.) (IQ = Intelligence Quotient ; EQ = Emotional Quotient) nerd 可用复数,动词也能用其他时态。
- J- M- |; i: A+ O$ ]$ a7 l! U+ {4 t* S) b5 Q
He used to be a nerd in high school. (过去他在高中时是位书呆子)$ `" T: ~$ T5 b0 W6 n

Many Chinese students are(或 have been)considered nerds.
/ M# H" i N; J# Y3 j. p0 h. S5 b& E/ L9 J: {! O& D
! }! y0 N: r. D5 u
He is a computer geek. (意思是:虽然他是书呆子,但电脑很棒)+ Y3 u1 o( V, @0 `' ?+ s
3 r2 m, [6 }# [6 _ I don't like him because he is a jerk.9 b- R% L) c5 D% p$ f/ @, e$ P J* K/ i

7 w% W, l( m5 T: \; P! e Y @" ^! Z1 t
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说:
. r5 ?4 Q8 n/ [" E( Z1 t5 Z0 E9 s' z9 a/ ?/ _0 d
Yo baby, are you trippin'?
诸如:7 r' f5 ?8 W, W; @) E. |# K) E
! b3 K9 {* B0 {
May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before.
/ Q$ c* i6 N) u9 M6 S
; `- c- V* c$ _.
6 o3 `- a s7 t9 a' `7 g& l! r9 k' E& g- H7 [) Z) m
Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?)
8 q& l: \1 f5 h7 M7 m7 B: @; A4 c% I& p: q
5. Catch you later! (a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等)6 y. u. [# @, N! T
3 t' R% [2 @( y! C) u2 `
有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again.
